Whats the trick kids...come on... tell aunty Irish...

I am reaching new lows here in my life...

It's bad enough that I have received SEVERAL (putting it lightly) warnings and a few bans on an online disney game site...

BUT NOW... I can't even beat these games meant for a 12yo...

I know I am not alone out there...
We can form a support group if we have to...

LOL, Irish!
I'm right there with you! I can't get past the first level of pirates, so you know I am totally hopeless at the space games! :rotfl2: But, it truly is the pre-teens and teens that are doing great at the games I am horrible at. Not to say I am really, really old, but lets just say their reflexes are way faster than mine, at least when it comes to the gaming relfexes. I never grew up with video or computer games. Wait, that's not true we had a pong game when I was growing up. :rotfl:

Even my husband tells me : "So, some little kid beat you at fireworks, again?" Yes, that is why I try to steal some time during the day, when all the kids should be in school to try and play. That, and late at night, the last two hours of VMK, when they should (yeah, right) all be in bed!
Of course for the games where it is you against the game, like the space games, well, there is just no hope for me!!! :rotfl2:

Actually the ones younger than 12 are beating it.... :rotfl: :rotfl2: :rotfl: :rotfl2: :rotfl:

Do I sympathize with you all.

I just figured out this last week that I can actually play Jungle Cruise ok- I'm not up to best in the day- but am getting pretty good and getting a good collection of PDFs for Tent room codes

And this past weekend a friend of my dh saw me on the game and asked if I go and play pirates with her to help her character move up levels- so we played a bit and I was really doing bad for a bit then dh took over for a game or two then he actually gave me advice -and I made it all the way to level three and earned my invisibility pin (Yeah)

Now Fireworks- I still haven't quite gotten the knack of that one- I can do okay- but not great- and certainly not good enough to score in the top

And those Space games-
Blaster- I am totally pathetic at- and blow myself up rather quickly lol
HyperSpace Mountain- I have tried and tried- because it looked like "once I got the hang of it I'd be able to do it" -yeah well I still don't have the hang...
AirLock Escape- now that one I liked- I wish they would do more like that- the ones that take some brain power and not all this hand eye coordination and dexterity...

And I'm sure if my son or husband would commit the time they'd get through- dh actually tried Blast in Space- and it managed to get him very angry and frustrated lol- made his face turn red and all... The other he tried once or twice and said- oh that is enough of that...

I just wish you'd get something for all the trying you do- hey 5 credits- 1 credit even- would be something to show for the time put into the game lol...
Maybe they cold do 1 or 2 credits for each level you manage to get through or something like that... at least those of us who have tried and tried and tried would not be faced at the end of the day with nothing to show for the time but sore wrists and fat thighs lol

Im not sick of winning...

I mean is this what adults do to us, behind our backs ;)?

We are younger, so our sight is still good ;)

Krystal my dear... I don't beleive that was a tip.... but thank you for the "encouraging" words...

 LOL! :rotfl2:

Now, as Virtually said, if they would just have more thinking games, like the airlock escape mazes, then I would really enjoy the games!

I am only 17 years old and I can't win these games! (Ug what does my future look like??!! LOL) I would enjoy the thinking games as well. I am, as you say, "virtually challenged." :rotfl: I can't even begin to attempt the new arcade games (with the exception of AirLock Escape, which I did perfectly fine on lol although it took me a while to figure out how to use the balloon things lol) Anyway...just to let you know, some of us teens (including myself) are finding the games just as difficult. (I don't know whether that makes you adults feel any better considering it has nothing to with age, or if this is just pathetic that even a 17 yo can't win these games LOL  )

Just saying I like to win ;)
And was wishing you good luck.

Don't you sit there already ;)

We could also say that the freak adeptnes at the space mountain game is balenced by your lack of skill at the other game- and you can then be termed an adult and get your space at the old table = but if you want any alcoholic beverages we may just have to card you :rotfl:

I'll be 38 next week and I can kick some Jungle butt! Shall I join MousseDude with the other kids?

I can't beat HyperSpace Mountain, but I can get to Level 12 of Blast in Space, so I think it's only a matter of time.

I heard she was pretty good at curling. Must have gotten some pointers from Canadian. Or the janitor at her local mall....perhaps both. ;)
