I bought in last night around 6pm - still waiting for my points to be loaded so I can book a trip next May!

But non owners can only book 4 months ahead for any stay prior to 1/1/2014. So owners, even new members will still have first crack at those coveted reservations for this November & December. Non owners won't be able to book NYE until the end of August.

I am sure you are correct. I am glad o don't have to fight for that ressie in August.

We are staying at AKV from Dec 31-Jan 3, BCV Jan 3-10 and finishing off at VGF Jan 10-12, can't wait to stay at our new home resort!!

The points I bought Tuesday night were finally loaded this afternoon! I have a long 11 months to wait until my trip May 1-4, 2014. Can't wait to read all the trip reports from everyone staying there this fall/winter.

Just wanted to put a shout out to any new DVC VGF home resort members who got their contracts entered today...pixie dust to you on getting the reservations you are looking to book.

Thanks! Purchased on Tuesday, made our reservation for 4 nights in a standard view 1Br for Dec 27 to 31 on wednesday morning. Used to go the week after Thanksgiving every year (until DW went back to work), so we are looking forward to getting back to WDW all decked out for the holidays, crowds and all!

Studio lake view, Nov. 16 - 23. First time going to our new home! We bought 125 pts. so we could go for a week every year in our preferred season. Since we splurged this year on a lake view, next year we will get 5 nights at VGF and 2 at BCV. (We have 320 BCV pts)

DVC Mike looks like we will be there towards the end of your trip (In 12/12 - 12/15). Hope I get to run into the infamous DVC Mike, I will look for the Nikon camera

so many resort guests are crazy about the GF, perhaps they have really deep pockets vs the many who post here they are able to rent points (even non-distressed) for $10, even less

Curious to see if the current point rental rates posted by DVC members might take a related bump for all the properties.
