For some reason I don't see a thread about tangled and it's been out for a few days now. Just saw it a few hours ago and it was a good movie. Lassiter worked on it so it you know the story will be tight. I also thought the music was good.

My 10 year old liked it.

Just came back from seeing this with my DD 8 and my mom. This movie greatly exceeded my expectations. I wasn't that excited to see a Rapunzel-based movie. Boy was I wrong!
We laughed, we cried, and we watched in amazement. Tangled has such great action, romance, and heart. Great casting with Zachary Levi and Mandy Moore in the lead roles and fantastic animation as well. A wonderful story line. I can't wait for it to come out on blu-ray!

I saw it wednesday and am seeing it again tomorrow. I absolutely loved it, the songs, story and the animation is gorgeous. anyone who hasn't seen it yet should check it out for sure

We loved it! I think Disney has hit a home run with this movie. :thumbsup2

I really enjoyed it. I think it will be one of those Disney movies that gets better the more you watch it. Instant Classic.

My DD10 and I saw it Wednesday and really enjoyed it. For me, it was the first movie to demonstrate the value of 3D technology. The 3D films I have seen prior to Tangled left me thinking "Why did I pay extra money for that???" But with Tangled, the 3D effects really worked for me. There were times when I felt like I was surrounded by the movie (the boat scene in particular). Very cool!

I liked it a lot. However, it lacked the emotional charge that I felt for Up, WallE, TS3; I'm a bawler and my tissues stayed in my purse. Glad I saw it tho I'll pass on the blu-ray when it becomes available. :3dglasses

cheers,
:flower3:

I saw it yesterday with a friend of mine, and we both loved it! It way exceeded my expectations! As it was nearing the end I was thinking "Wow, who would have thought that this was going to be so good, I was way wrong" and then I saw Lassiter's name and knew why!!!!

Thinking I'll go see it again in 3d :thumbsup2

I don't know if it was just my theatre, but the 3d was awfully dark. Several times during the movie I took my glasses off so I could see what the real color was like. I saw it in an older theatre so they might not have the right projector.

Saw it, loved it! We had a big group - adults, teens, pre-teens and younger kids with us. We all adored it. The way they handled the hair, animation-wise, was truly amazing.

I saw it during a free preview (got the invite by email) and LOVED IT!!!!

Especially in 3D... :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes

We've seen it twice now and loved it. My older two kids (9 and 6) would go see it a third time in a heartbeat, and I'd go with them!

We haven't done it in 3D, though. I was telling my mom when she went with us for our second time that I didn't think it needed the 3D - the story was great on its own. But now that I think of it, that lantern scene would have been AWESOME in 3D. Maybe I do need to go back and see it a third time....;)

Thought Tangled was fantastic - one of the best Disney films I've seen. Tight story, very good characters, songs are the only thing that are not TOP notch, but they are pretty good too.

I saw it in 3d and agree it didn't add much (not worth the extra money), the lantern scene was great in 3d, but one scene doesn't make it worth it imo. For our fam of 5, 3d runs us an additional $20. We discussed it afterwards and my kids weren't even impressed.

We just saw it this afternoon. The whole family (including 9 & 7 year old boys) loved it! I thought Zachary Levi was amazing as Flynn. Who knew "Chuck" could sing?!

My favorite character was Maximus (the horse)!

We saw it last week and LOVED it. My DD4 is afraid of 3D, so we just saw it in a regular theater... but now that you mention it, maybe I should try to convince DH that we should see it again in 3D as a date night... I bet the laterns are very cool in 3D!
