Ok Who is up for a 6 week challenge?

Just checking in for today. I have drank already drank more than 60 ounces of water today, in fact that is all that I have drank, no soda not even waist watchers. The diet is back on track although I am still craving sweets I am resisting. I am still lacking energy so I have no desire to exercise yet. Has anyone else on Atkins had a big decrease in energy during induction?

Checking in for yesterday.
I got in my six cups of water, but I just couldn't get motivated enough to exercise. But today I am feeling better. The sun is finally shining here after lots and lots of rain. I always feel better when it is sunny!:sunny: I'm planning to exercise in a bit and take my ds outside to play this afternoon! Have a great day!:D

Hey All - Checking in -
Today was my weigh in day- I've lost one of the two I had gained last week. I didn't exercise yesterday, it was my heavy TOM day and I was feeling very uncomfortable.
I went out and bought the WATP DVD today. It was a splurge but I am worth it I think. It came with the Stretchie, I'm not sure I'm coordinated enough to use it yet though. That'll take some practice.
I've been following the food points really close lately and I need my water so I'm getting my share of that.
Take Care, Renee

Yesterday was a pretty good day for me. I ate fairly reasonably, and did approx 2.5 miles walking. My legs were hurting quite a bit yesterday when I tried to walk. Mostly around my shins. I especially noticed it when I was on an incline or the wind picked up against me. DH was walking with me and we stopped a couple of times so he could rub the muscle around my shin. He said it felt really tight and like it might be having spasms. Tuesday I had walked/ran more than usual, so I'm thinking that my muscles were just tired from that. ANYWAY, have any of you had this happen? I feel like this is probably normal, but usually I can tell when my muscles are sore before I start walking and I've never had them hurt like they did yesterday. I did about 80 sit-ups and 40 leg lifts during the commercial breaks of the Apprentice finale last night, too. So, I think yesterday went ok for me!

Hi!
I did very well yesterday. I drank my six cups of water plus two more. I did my WATP dvd. I also took my son outside to play and took a twenty minute walk around the neighborhood.
Renee- don't worry about the stretchie, my ds who is three loves to use it. So if he can do it, I know you can too. :D

Checking in...I went out to dinner tonight and was able to order a low carb meal, 8 carbs total. It was a nice break to not have to cook for myself and family. I have not lost anymore weight since last week, but I haven't gained either. I am holding at 7 lbs lost since restarting Atkins. I guess that I can justify my 5 lb clippie now. I am doing great with my water and I have began to exercise. A little running on the treadmill and some sit ups. It's a start. My dh came home from work today and said that a couple of guys that he works with told him that his wife was "looking good". It made him and I feel good. I guess that 35 lost pounds does show.

Checking in for yesterday. I got all my water in. I took a 30 minute walk. I went outside with my ds. DS also made me dance to the Wiggles, so I got a little workout there. I don't know how today will go because I have inlaws here from out of town. I hope everyone else has a good weekend. :D

Things have been hectic the past few days and I haven't checked in--so here I am! :D

For the past few days I've had trouble eating all my target points. I wonder what's up with that, because I'm always able to eat. Thursday, I actually had 8 points leftover for the day that I didn't eat. (Not a good thing, I know.) But I just couldn't make myself eat. The first part of the week, I had the munchies and wanted to eat everything in sight! I'm thinking that it might be a menopause-related thing. I've also had trouble sleeping. Maybe some kind of hormone fluctuation?? I have managed to get all my water and exercise in.

my3princes, I'll bet it felt great to get compliments from your DH's co-workers!! 35 pounds is a great accomplishment!! Keep up the good work!! :D

GoofItUp, hope your legs pain is better now! Great idea to do your sit ups and leg lifts during commercials!

Renee-I'll bet you a WATPing like a pro with that stretchie by now. I just got the 2 mile WATP Express tape and have done it a couple of times and really like it!!

Hope everyone is having a great weekend! :sunny:

Just checking in for today. I did much better than I thought I would with MIL here. I took a 30 minute walk and I am just about to drink my 6th cup of water. This week has gone well. I exercised four times this week and I think I got my water in everyday. I hope next week goes just as well or better! I am really enjoying being part of this challenge!:D

I'm checking in and I'm sorry that I've been MIA for the past few days. Things are going well. I'm on plan, cheat free and have exercised everyday this past week except for Wednesday which I took as a rest day.

Today is weigh in day and I'm down 2 pounds! Yippee! That makes 51.5 pounds lost for me since I started SBDing, WISHing and FIRming, which was 4-1/2 months ago.

I hope everyone has a great Sunday afternoon.

Checking in for the weekend. Honestly, for the weekend, I didn't do all that bad. Kept the food intake reasonable as my goal was to do, and did some exercising, though not as much as I could have. I'm going to try to walk each day at lunch this week. DH can't go to lunch with me this week so it should be easier for me to discipline myself to do it! I'll most likely go to the Y Tuesday for a weigh-in. Here's keeping my fingers crossed that I'll get the 5-pounder after Tuesday!

mowsie, the leg pain seems to be subsiding. Thanks for the comments.

mommyflower, you deserve extra points for doing well even while the in-laws are there!

ZerasPride, :earseek: Wow! 51.5 pounds in 4 1/2 months! You are an encouragement to all of us!

Checking in for Sunday. I had a great day. We live in Vermont and are Maple Sugar Producers. Today we had to walk our orchard which is 22 acres of hill and I mean steep hill. We had to flush our lines so I walked up and down and across that hill so many times that my legs and feet ached before we had it done. I have no doubt that I will be extremely sore tomorrow, though I am looking forward to it as I will feel like I really did some great exercise. Keep up the good work everyone!

Hi everyone!:wave2:
Well yesterday was ok. I ate ok and I got my water in. It was another day with the inlaws:rolleyes: so I didn't get my exercise in. I was so disappointed to because it was a beautiful day outside. Oh well, they are gone now so it's back to my regular schedule.
Lisa- 51.5 lbs is so great!::yes::

Goofitup- Thanks for the extra points. I am very surprised I did well considering it was a very stressful situation.

My3princes- Talk about exercise! Hope you don't feel too sore today.

Hi Jen!

Have you considered doing the FIRM abs tape more frequently. I can't believe how flat my tummy is becoming and how many inches I have lost since I started SBD and Firming 4-1/2 months ago. I also started doing the advanced moves on the video and notice my abs are much more sore now than they used to be when I was following the beginner moves with Libby in the back row. I hope some of my ramblings help you!

I've been really good these past few days. I've maintained a positive attitude and do not give in to the negative feelings that try to envelope me when someone give me a compliment or makes a comment on my weight loss. I have lost over 50 pounds and people do notice. I have to just get used to it and realize that one day I'll be at goal and people will just expect me to be slim so it won't be a big deal. For now when someone makes a comment, I just smile and say "thank you" even though I feel like running and hiding from the attention, well sometimes I do and I admit that a lot of time I like the attention. Okay, I admitted it! :)

I am on plan and working out just about everyday with my FIRM videos. Saturday morning it was cardio sculpt, Sunday morning ab sculpt and this morning it was cardio sculpt blaster. I am drinking my water and getting in more veggies, even if it in the form of V8 juice everyday!

At yesterday's weigh in I was down 2 pounds which puts me solidly in the 50 pound club and I've claimed my beautiful clippie!

I hope we all have a great week!

Zeraspride...you have lost 50 lbs and have a flat stomach, I am so envious!! Keep up the good work.

It is nice to hear that while we all struggle with diet and exercise the struggle seems to be worth it and we all seem to get back on track. I find each day a struggle, but I am taking it one day at a time and I will achieve my goals eventually. We have a beautiful day here in VT, 85 degrees which is unheard of in April. I have already been out for an hour chasing 5 kids and I plan to get back out later. This is the weather that makes you feel good and makes you feel like tring harder to look good. Keep up the good work.

It's me, just checking in
The weekend went pretty good. I ate well, drank all my water and walked 5 miles with my WATP. Yes, mowsie dreamer, it's getting much easier.
Y'all should see me in my pants now, they're not bulging anymore - that is a Grreat feeling! I can tell that since I've added some activity points, the inches are really starting to come off. I look much better. I'm really enjoying my WATP DVD, it's fun and my 2 year old DD loves to "exusize" with me. She's so cute when she's marching and she loves the stretchie. It's a great quality time bonus.

Zera's Pride - Yeah for you! That clippie looks great on you!

Did pretty well yesterday....ate reasonably, drank water, and walked/ran two miles!

Most exciting thing yesterday was when a friend of my said she could tell that I'm losing weight and she was really being genuine about it! That felt great!

Hi!
I got my water in yesterday, but no exercise. I was very tired after not sleeping well the night before. I am feeling better rested today and plan to exercise in a little while. I weighed in today and I gain 1/2 a pound. I am hoping that is due to exercise because I have been doing pretty well with food. I have been trying a new woe since I started this 6 week challenge. I don't think it should be that, but either way I want to stick with this woe until the challenge is over and then decide if it is working or not.
