I leave Saturday morning for WDW and we get on the Disney Magic on Monday for 5 days then next Sunday back at WDW doing the sunrise safari.

I am taking the following equipment and want to know what I am forgetting other than the backpain meds for carrying this stuff.

Nikon D300
10.5mm fisheye
50mm 1.8
60mm 2.8 macro
18-200 mm
70-200 2.8
1.4 teleconverter
SB800
remote release manual
remote release wireless
c/p for several lens
22 gb in various cards
60 gb wolverine card drive
22 Blank DVD's
220 gb portable hd
Mac laptop
batteries and charger
Tripod and head and clamp
Misc chargers etc
charging strip
lenspen
Of course backpack for all the stuff
25 yr old son to help carry the stuff with his camera stuff.

So what am I forgetting???

I normally would not take this much stuff but first time on cruise and really excited about taking pictures on the safari!

Don't you hate it when you get there and say, I wish I had remembered that!

got those.... Sorry I forgot

Back up point and shoot for when you don't want to lug your big camera (or for some reason your nikon doesn't work or charge)?

Disposable underwater cameras or waterproof bag for your camera for pool/ocean?

Great thoughts!

Son has D200 as a backup
DW has Fuju F50d with waterproof case. My son and I will fight over to use when snorkeling.

Also forgot that I do have video camera with tapes and chargers and new batteries.

Have a pacsafe 200 as security bag when out and about without backpack. But I do no leave my camera in the hot sun. Just do not do it.

Lithium battery allowances on airline? I think only your laptop battery would be affected though. :)

Card readers? firewire cable for camcorder? if it has one, usb cables for cameras if not bringing a card reader?

What about an SLR gorilla pod? I bought one recently and have attached it to benches when at the zoo.

Do have the card reader. I am only taking a true tripod. Son is taking a monopod for the safari and we will share.

See how easy it is to forget what you have!

Clothes maybe? I don't see where you would have room for them though. :lmao: Buy them when you get there!

Seriously though it looks like you are pretty darned prepared to me. Have a great time!
