12/29--arrive about 3 or 4PM--check into Dolphin--Epcot in the evening and late CP (the 8PM one) possibly eat for CP but haven't made any PS yet--don't even have to sit in the theatre as far as I'm concerned, as long as I can hear Gary Sinise (sigh)
12/30--check out of Dolphin and go to Contemporary to check in (or at least drop off bags)--go to MK==Christmas parade, Wishes and Philharmagic are only Must-dos.
12/31--sleep in for energy, breakfast at Chef Mickeys, then either Epcot for a while and back to MK, or stay at Epcot for NYE fireworks.
1/1--MGM
1/2--leave
How does this sound? Is it too much with the crowds? I remember last year watching Dick Clark showing MK fireworks so part of me wants to be there because I was thinking "That's so cool to be at Magic Kingdom NYE!" DH, though, doesn't really care about MK as much as I do.
ANY hints, suggestions, appreciated.

Sounds like a great plan but on NYE I would go to Epcot first and finish the evening at MK.That would be so great standing in MK seeing the fireworks over castle and starting a New Year in MK at WDW wow how magical can you get.:goodvibes :wave2: ::yes::

Other than your plan for 1/2 ;) Sounds good::MickeyMo

We'll be following each other around. We check in at BWV and stay there for four nights (12/27 - 12/31) and then check in at the Poly for a few nights. Can't wait!

Please remember the parks often fill to capacity on holidays during the Christmas season, especially new year's eve. So, as resort guests this should n ot effect you. But be prepared for nasty crowds.

Hmmm, sounds good! Only thing I would caution is that you might want to pick one park and stay in it on New Years eve. It would be a shame to leave one park, only to be denied entrance to another because it was filled to capacity!

Have a great trip! :wave2:

I think I'm changing 12/30 to go to MGM at open (8AM!) and get the "Big 2" out of the way before we check out--or possibly just check out EARLY and stay at MGM until about 3, then go check into the Contemp. and go to MK. That way if we sleep in on Jan. 1 we won't have to worry about missing the "big 2" at MGM.
How early do you think we'll need to get into MK to guarantee getting in on NYE? If we get tired and don't make it to midnight we can watch the fireworks from the room, hopefully. Which has better fireworks on NYE, Epcot or MK?
