Ok, three things to share

Well....we go to the open house over at Urbanlofts.com tomorrow to talk to Tammie the salesperson. She's guaranteed that we'll get approved. It's just a matter of "can we afford it", which we think we can. First time homebuyer, plus the 8K tax incentive from the govt.

Pardon me while I go throw up now.

I'm so nervous.

First time home buying is a very scary thing. (home buying in general is a scary thing, but especially the first time!) Just keep reminding yourself that there really won't be a better time to do this. I know things will work out just fine for you guys! Once it's all done, you'll be glad you did it!

The sad thing, is that I've been in the mortgage business for 19 years. I've been a government shipper, QA specialist, Corporate Auditor, Underwriter, Processor, Closer, Funder.....you name it I've done it and yet I'm STILL freaking out.

I wonder if you can wear depends to a closing.

My partner on the other hand is already working out Tile designs and figuring out where all the furniture would go.

He needs to stop.

Well, we JUST bought all new furniture last year, so I think we're good.

We just went through this! Good luck! I know it makes you nervous, but it will all work out in the end!

And get used to living at Home Depot! LOL I think I went an average of three times a week for the first four months!
