I know most of you say that we should only order burgers here, but I want to know what else on the menu everyone finds good. I mean how bad can the ribs be?? We love ribs. We didn't love Liberty Tree Tavern, we found the food to be very average, but it wasn't bad. And we enjoyed our meal. So, with that I'm saying I know this may not be a high quality place, but I'm not expecting that. I just want to know what else everyone likes. Thanks for your replies.

I ate at Sci-Fi back in '03 and hated it. Had a burger that was just awful. So, when I took my 31 y/o dd to WDW for her first trip in January, the one place she really wanted to eat at was, of course, Sci-Fi!!! So, naturally I booked it. And man, I was pleasantly surprised. I had a chicken sandwich that was really good. I can't remember what it was exactly...maybe something with pesto, can't recall, but it was really (as Rachal Ray would say) delish!

I haven't eaten there in years, but I did have a Reuben that was good. I try not to eat at MGM any more. Only popcorn and sometimes at Backlot

We were there a few weeks ago and loved it. I remember it being not as good years ago so this was great news. MGM has very few good dining options, but this is a new favorite for us again.

My boyfriend had the ribs and said that they were good. I had the bacon cheeseburger meal. For appetizers, he had the BLT soup and said it was well-done. I had the artichoke dip and loved it.

Great meal overall! Enjoy it! :)

The one time I had a burger there I liked it but I was very hungry- 1:30pm and in the parks since 8am with just a kids cheese stick in me so probably anything on a bun with ketchup would have been good- that being said I have also had the chicken cearsar- just okay at best as you can get better salads around the parks- but I have also had the chicken sandwich which I agree was great and my husband had the Rueben which was great! I love going here as it is the one place in WDW that my kids are quiet and just sit back and relax and watch the movies, mostly because they are tired but gives us all a break from the activity and quite frankly we go on 10 day vacations and sometimes it is just nice to be with quiet as we can get enough of eachother as many of you can imagine!!:rotfl2:
Enjoy!:yay:

The shakes are terrific, we love the spinach dip, DH loves the burgers, we all love the cheesecake dessert, and I love the chicken sandwich....

The food is simple, stay with the simple :thumbsup2

I like the shrimp penne pasta. Also I think they used to have a BBQ chicken sandwich that was good too.

another vote Reuben!

Kids meals were not very good or warm. They will get a shake, onion rings and ribs to split three ways this go around. (3 DD favorite items)

I don't know what's good, but I can recommend avoiding the turkey sandwich. It was served on dry, stale bread and there was nothing good about it.

I have only had the burger there. Thankfully, mine was good :thumbsup2

My DH likes it for the atmosphere, worth it just for that

We love the Onion rings & Ribs. We love being at the Sci- Fi it is a must do for us.

:cool1:

I had the ribs in March and I loved it and the sauce is really good. I actually asked for some on the side. My son had the chicken brushetta on a bun and like it very much too.

I love Sci-Fi, we go nearly every trip, think it is clever... have never had a hamburger there, I always get the shrimp penne, DH and 2 sons always get the ribs, and the tird always gets the rueben.

Onion rings are very good. As are the burgers. Honestly have never been very impressed with anything else other then the atmosphere.

I had a steak there a few years ago and thought it was REALLY good. :)

I had the ribs last year -- they were BAD. I love ribs -- all ribs -- but I did not like these. I thought they were more like beef jerky than ribs. The onion rings are very good.

I love the BLT soup and they used to have a good salad with a blue cheese type vinaigrette-not sure if that is still on the menu. The drinks are good too.

The only things that I liked at Sci-Fi were the rueben sandwich and chocolate shake. My burger was awful (overcooked) and so were the fries. I'm giving it one more chance on our next trip, and then that is it!

have had the artichoke dip and the onion rings and loved them both!!!
