I generally skip right over most of Future World, especially Innoventions, but don't want to this time since I'll have some newbies with me. What's so great about it, and what stuff is do not miss??

If they have kids it is awesome...my kids love the Disney.com toontown tag game...last trip over easter there was a Fire prevention game that my boys 11,12 kept playing over and over. There was a pizza game that the entire family played that was fun for all. Innoventions has hidden fun stuff...take the time to stop and try...

Okay, no kids. Just me (23), sister (21), mom and aunt (ahem... 40-something) and g-ma (60-something). Anything there that would interest us?

If its still open, January 2004 we toured a futuristic house set up. It has all sorts of new technology for the home. I thought it was interesting.

I know exactly what you're talking about. My dh and I were going to do that on our last trip but didn't feel like waiting forever for the next one. We'll make sure to do that this time.

What else??

I think it's one of the best places to get out of the sun and the heat! :rotfl2: Plus it's a good time waster, especially if you're waiting for a PS or a FP time or something like that :)

A lot of Innoventions attractions I find boring or childlike. However....I agree that the House of Innoventions (East) and the "new" gadgets are really good. Your grandma will like it - we're in the same age bracket. :flower: And be sure to send home some internet post cards from Innoventions West.

We will definitely look out for House of Innoventions, we are great ones for gadgets at home, so that should be interesting :flower: I had been wondering about Innoventions myself. I still have the internet postcard I sent myself in 2000, will definitely do this again, and won't have to send it to myself this time and family and friends are now on internet too, they eventually arrived in the 21st century :rotfl2:
