ok - subbed Rose & Crown for Teppan Edo -Opinions?

Thanks to Minnie56, I found out Teppan Edo won't be open until..... Ok WDW doesn't know when it'll open . So I decided not to wait for them to call me, I called them. They asked what I'd really like & somehow, getting Teppan open on time wasn't one of the options . Anyway, I settled on Rose & Crown. Now I've never really considered this restaurant before. DD is somewhat picky but will be happy with a good piece of steak and mashed potatoes. Can I get some feedback here?

I ate at the R&C this past Saturday. We had an outside table with a great view of Illuminations. My fish and chips was huge. One DD had chicken, the other DD had macaroni from the children's menu. All of our food was good. Waitress was great. We ate prior to Illuminations, then at my request, she brought dessert after the fireworks. I will definately try R&C again.

the rose and crown has gone down hill ..we didnt even go there the last 2 trips,,w were there in april and it sucked big time..the staff is not very good and the fish and chips are under cooked,,,they just push them out to get more in and out,,so donnt waist your time on it,,

We ate there our last visit, I believe it was March and we had a great meal. We sat outside, the day was beautiful, service was great and food cooked to perfection. I have never had a bad meal there....so I always recommend this restaurant.
