OK...So you advised me to book my room....

Those of you..."in the know" advised me to go on and book our rooms now...and then when the AAA discounts possibly come out...calll up and change it accordingly...Well..I have another question...The rates are the same if I get two free park tickets with it or if I just get the room...If I choose the one with the two free park tickets....will that mess me up...later on when using the AAA discount? We don't really need the park tickets included as we have already purchased ours...but, if I would get the same price down the road...with the AAA discount...whether I choose the room only or room with tickets...I'd just save our non expiring park tickets for another time....What do you suggest?

I do not think you can get triple A if you are booking a room with the free park tickets

I have seen on the AAA site where you can book packages...just not for the dates I want yet...Hmmmmm?

Just book the one without the free park tickets. If AAA becomes available it won't be for the free tickets. Their packages aren't usually a very good deal.

or not. When the AAA rates become available, you'll lose the tickets is all that will happen. I would book the room with the tickets just in case a AAA rate doesn't become available. I'm sure it will but like you said, you could hold on to your non expire tickets and use them later if the worst case scenerio happened and no AAA rate is available. If you have the room with the free tickets, it's not going to keep you from being able to get the AAA rate. It just means you lose the free tickets is all.

I will have everybody up to our cottage this weekend...and will ask for their credit cards and Loew's information....Then, I'll call Royal Pacific to make the reservations...and just keep watching for the AAA discounts....Let's see what happens! Thanks everybody for your input...One of these days...I'll be more comfortable making arrangements for Universal/IOA just like I do for Disney...just not yet....
