Our three must do's are

Le Cellier
50's PTC
Garden Grill

New to us-

Spoodles
Kona
Crystal Palace
Grand Floridian Cafe

Still need to figure out one more place- we'll be there for DD's 9th b-day. She's not so much into the princesses. I wish there was something with the crew from Peter Pan, she'd be all over that. She loves Lilo and Stitch but we did that CB for her 7th bday and we were underwhelmed with the food.

I'm spending way to much time reading menus. :rotfl: :rolleyes1 :coffee:

I know what you mean about reading the menus...I think I have committed most of them to memory! :confused3

I think you have some great choices! I have been to all of them on your list, with the exception of the Grand Floridian Cafe.

Enjoy your trip planning!

My next trip is over a year away and I already know where I want to eat. I think I obsess over the menus a bit too much. :)

I love when I read post like these, they make me feel "normal":lmao: :lmao:

I have had our places picked out since, :rolleyes1 oh I dont know Feb/March and we are going in December!:lmao:

I swear if there were a "Disney Menu Triva Game" I would so rule:rotfl2: I know its sad, very sad, but alas oh so true:sad2:

My hubby makes fun of me, he says "Hi my name is Dana and I'm a Disney Trip Planning Addict" again, sad but true! :surfweb:

Picked out your restaurants for December trip in Feb/ March ?!?!

Only one question - why did you wait soooo late :rotfl2: ??

We picked ours out LAST december for our Christmas Trip. Just gotta wait till June to make them.

Another pre-pre-pre planner here.

Does anyone else 'tweek' their ADRs as tie goes on?

I must make 2 or 3 changes.

:rotfl2: I'm not alone!! Seriously, while I'm there I'm planning my next trip's meals. We've had ours picked out for a couple weeks too and we're going in Nov...I actually pretty much know what I'm eating at each place. We're veggie so that kind of limits us in that regard, but uh, yeah...I probably won't need any menus when we get down there.

I was thinking Chef Mickey's or Whispering Canyon maybe?

We did WCC the last time we were there, but Chef Mickeys I'm looking at. Thanks for the reinforcement to try it.

I told DH last night that I thought I knew where we should go and asked if he was going to laugh at me. He said no, he wasn't surprised. So glad he gets it:banana:

I'm glad I'm not alone either!!! We're going in December and I have it all planned out already:laughing: DH thinks I'm crazy asking him now if he wants to go here or there but when the time comes he'll be thanking me:worship: :love2::rotfl: Guess I'm obsessed too.

We're going in December, too. Just 1 more month until I can make those ADR's. DH thinks I spend way too much time on these Boards. Like DreaminDisney, one day he'll thank me!

We are going during Thanksgiving week. I get to make our ADRs on Sunday May 20. I have had them planned out for about 6 weeks. There are 10 of use going. Some have not been in years. We had to have a disney food meeting. Everyone at work laughed at me. I showed everyone the menus with a laptop hooked up to our big screen TV. Then they told me what they were interested in and I planned what days to go to each restaurant. I told everyone they could go to different places and we didn't have to all eat in the same places but they wanted to stick together. We are all resonable people so I don't anticipate any problems. If someone complains too much, I will just say "Oh well". They could have done it themselves and made other choices. I don't fret too much with what other people say. We have no plans for lunch or breakfast (except for one at CP) so for those meals we will eat where ever we are.

Great choices so far! How about Coral Reel (diver b-day message), Rose & Crown ( Illuminations seating ADR), or Biergarten (fun entertainment and good food!)

Just some ideas and more food for thought!:)

Our trip is the week after Thanksgiving and I've been planning our ADR's since before Christmas. I have tweeked them a bit, but not too much. We get to make our ADR's on the 29th, so now I need to finally decide what time we want to dine on each day based on what we plan on doing.

I'm still trying to work out an ADR at Narcoossee's so we can catch the Electrical Water Pageant.

My husband thinks I'm crazy when I sit reading menus online at night. It's nice to know I might be crazy, but at least not alone! :goodvibes

I'll second all of those! :thumbsup2

Being sure of getting an outside table at R&C for Illuminations can be a bit tricky though.

I must make 2 or 3 changes.

I've been planning and changing and planning again ever since we decided that we were going this year. After all, I have to have everything ready for June 1 when I can finally make my ADRs. And with every resort change, the ADRs must be revisited and rethought in light of the new transportation options. Then we decided on the Dolphin - no dining plan! - and I'm revisiting them all again because there were some I was less than excited about but was doing because they fit into our DDP planning. :rotfl:

DH's only request this trip is nice meals. Combine that with the freedom of not being on the dining plan and we're apt to try every signature restaurant in the World on this trip!

Right now, I have Sci-Fi, Kimonos, Shulas, California Grill, Artist Point, Le Cellier, Teppanyaki, Coral Reef, Akershus, Cindy's Table, Fultons, and our arrival day dinner still undecided between Narcoosees and Ohana. But all that is subject to change as our dates get closer and our resort potentially changes again if a good enough discount comes out.

Ok, so I have:

50's Primetime
Boma
ESPN
Chef Mickey's (breakfast)
Narcoossee's
Le Cellier or Teppanyaki **

** This is the questionable one, only because we're going to want to do the Candlelight Processional dinner package and those packages aren't even released until August, so we have no idea what we might get at that point.

We're also planning to go off-site to Emeril's on the night of Hubby's birthday.

We did like the coral reef 3 yrs ago, that might be a doable one for sure. How do you go about making arrangements for the diver message?

I think if there was a different restaurant in the location where R&C is we'd go, but nothing on the menu really sucked me in. We're going with DH's parents too, so I need to be sure to get pick places that will appeal to everyone.
