... and I hit not one... not two... but THREE stores!? I'm not sure if I should be disappointed in myself or patting myself on the back, lol. The damage wasn't too bad because I'm basically clueless (paper and a mickey punch were my only purchases). I spent most of my time wandering through the scrapping aisles saying "I have no idea what I need... oh look... pretty paper... I'll take it." :rotfl:

Is this how it starts, lol?

Sooooo...where did you go and what did you buy? We want DETAILS! :) (What TYPE of paper..WHICH Mickey punch...??)

Jill

Heres a quick list....

Album
Page protectors
paper
scissors, medium and small
a paper trimmer
circle cutter
adhesive
stickers

see we can help you spend as much as you want... :rotfl2: were awful that way :rotfl:

most of all welcome to our addiction, hope you enjoy it!!!

Jenny, that's how it starts. A little of this paper, a little of that paper. Oh, this is so cute, I'll take 2. And, this would be perfect paper when we go to the beach. This paper matches DD's Easter dress. If I buy this paper I can take pictures of __________ and scrap them.

Very addictive. If you know what's good for your bank account....DON'T GO BACK!

Ok Jen look at your tags. Been there ... done that.....going back.
You can now use that for WDW and the scrapbook stores!

Well, I went to ACMoore - loved it! It's a new store; very big; lots of "stuff". Ummm... yeah... as for what kind of paper... umm... blue, pink, pretty green with swirls in it :rotfl: I don't know the brands. I know, I know... no fun! I promise I'll be more attentive the next time I shop! I did get some Disney Princess paper - only a few sheets because they were $1 a piece!

Afterwards, I "swung by" Michaels on my way to Panera Bread for lunch - I'm glad I stopped by because I won't be going back there! They didn't have anything that ACMoore didn't have and the store was cramped and messy - paper in the wrong bins and all that :scared1: I didn't get anything there.

Then on the way home I realized I was running early (WHAT? Never happens - I'm never early for anything - somethings up...) and had to stop for gas. Well, across the street from the gas station I "happened" to stop at was a Joannes. Hmmmm... I've got 15 minutes to spare... why not! So $20 later I got a "Stack III" and a bunch of single sheets.

Then I promptly went home and hid the bags from DH!

LOL! Now be sure to take the stuff out of the bags and mix it in with other things so it looks like you've had it forever :rotfl: Not that I know anything about hiding scrap supplies. :rotfl:

I went out and bought NASCAR page supplies today for my race pages (lot of new stuff out there). I only had 1 more punch to go on my punch card for my lss. So, since I filled up the card, I "had" to get the cutest 8 x 8 black embossed Mickey album basically for FREE!

Happy shopping everyone :cool1:

I saw that book online - it said that it was "side loading" I am assuming that it loads next to the spine?? All of the ones I have gotten have been top loading so I was kinda wondering what this one was like.

What you will learn with A.C. Moore that is if you wait long enough things will go on sale. So hold off on paper and sticker buying until they have them for 40% off...and ALWAYS use your 40& off one item coupon...even if you don't NEED something but you WANT it. :)

ACM is a GREAT store and ours does a good job on keeping current. Always check the mark-down items as they tend to have them here and there. The ladies there "know" me as that's one place I go when I have some rare free time on my hand. There, Target, Home Goods and Barnes & Noble are my "happy places" where I love to go off on my own for some retail therapy.

And yes, very good lesson you learned right off - ALWAYS hide the bags (and receipts) from DH! :)

Jill...who just received an order from Paper Wishes..

Yep, I just opened it up. It loads near the spine. I think I'm going to like it.

Now you've done it! You will be addicted before you know it! And just think you only hit the national type stores. Do you have any LSS - local scrapbook stores? I'm sure Patty will know where they are !! Maybe you will need a road trip :). Eventually you will see embelllishments - die cuts, brads, eyelets, ribbon, stickers, etc. that you just cannot live without.

Hello Hello Hello
and it all started with the dang Target Clearance cabinet I made her drive to Marlborough for and let her get the only one left ;) lol
she really needs to fill the cabinet now right...
Seriously I should open a local scrap store as we don't have any close by - the only one we ever had suc#ed! I do 90% of my shopping online - the other 10% is with those 40% off coupons or at a yearly convention!

I'll let you know when target has any good clearances.... maggie

Yep Patty... I may have introduced you to the DIS, but that was to SAVE you money. You introduce me to a hobby that's gonna cost me, lol! ;) I'm going to have to remove all the kids craft stuff from that cabinet so I have a place to hide my purchases. Patty has taught me well :rotfl:

well Jenn you admit you have to get those pictures out of plastic bags under your bed! ;)
you may have saved me money but dang do I spend a lot of time on the coputer now :rotfl:
Wednesday the 13th (right) I will open the 'store' for you :teeth:

HEE HEE HEE!!! That's right . . . you blend it into the "stuff" you already have and he will NEVER know the difference . . . until he looks at the checking balance and sees debit purchases at AC Moore, LSS, Michaels, mousememories, bargainpack . . . then I'M BUSTED!!! (Flash a smile and a kiss and everything is OK!!! ;) )
