Whoops! I forgot the kitchen sink. Would someone please tell me just how am I am suppose to fit all this stuff in the car? I think I have OVER PACKED. Has anyone else ever packed TOO MUCH when going to Disney?

I am one of those "better prepared then not" people. I have gotten better oveer the years, really I have but still manage to pack way too much.

Going for 8 days at WDW and 4 days visiting family and friends. Just how much stuff do we actually need?

We never pack for more than 4 days when flying and do laundry as required . this is going to be a wrote in stone rule now that most airlines are charging for bags . This rule does go out the window when driving though then we are the car going down the road with stuff tied to the roof .

I'm glad to hear there are other overpackers out in the world! We had 2 rooftop carriers on our mini-van with 7 people and more stuff inside. This year we will only have 4 people and a lot less stuff. No pool noodles, a lot less food, less over-the-counter medication, and better packing strategies. We use beach towels as blankets, each child's toys must fit into their bookbag and that includes all electronics. Headphones are a must as well as plenty of grocery bags to double as trash bags. I love the drive down, I just don't like to have to unload at the resort.
