We leave Thursday and while this week it finally hit a string of mid to high 70's in Orlando, I have seen 67 on Saturday!! And much of next week is low 70's. We have an Aquatica pass so I am bummed it will be chilly to use the waterpark. I know weather is relative for us Canadians, but honestly, it's 39 in Orlando this morning.......that's the high in Buffalo today on a winter's day!!

Let's start spreading some pixie dust on this weather ..........

I here it is suppose to turn around by Wed. I know, it is 34 here! I'm leaving a day early to get some beach time in before my cruise. Didn't plan to pack my winter duds!

It was reported on the news thst 1963 was the coldest winter in Florida since they started keeping records in the early 1900's. This year was the second coldest.

This is what I just saw on accuweather and I'm going with this one as it's the best I have seen and I look every day.

Thurs. 81 (march 11)
Friday 84
Saturday 80
Sunday 73
Monday 74
Tuesday 74
Wednesday 76
Thursday 79
Friday 80
Saturday 80 (only day with showers showing)
Sunday 79

the days are a mix of sun/cloud but the temps look good, no pants needed.

We follow Accuweather as it's pretty accurate, but this forecast has changed a million times! Yesterday it was 67 the day we arrive (Sat.) and now it's 80...

We have packed capris and a few shorts, and this will work as it might rain anyway. March in Orlando is funny weather...

Great trips to all, Tiger :)

I have been watching the same time period and it is definitely looking better today! Hopefully, this forcast stays and it is mid 70s-80 the whole time. Only a few more days!!!:cool1::cool1:

Hi Gang

Were in the same boat here wondering that is going on with the weather. We're heading down March 17th to the 25th and we've got our fingers crossed that we'll be hitting the 80's. Please, please please.... :worship: !!!

We arrive at about noon tomorrow. Hopefully it has warmed up. I may still go swimming anyways though. I like it when people to point and stare. "look at the crazy Canadian! Swimming when it is so cold."

We just got back on Friday.

It was cold.

We went swimming once. I was fun until someone (my lovely dd) splashed my head and got my hair wet. Until then I was fine in the heated water. I froze when we got out. As I walked rather quickly back to our room (of course, at the very end of the resort), I realized that I wasn't all that cold anymore.

Didn't wear shorts or tank tops. We wore capris twice, short sleeves twice. The rest of the time is was jeans and sweaters. A couple of times, I even wore a coat on top.

Saw many people wearing hats and mittens. Even some scarves.

It rained two mornings and was quite windy a few tips.

Didn't matter though, we were at DisneyWorld!!!!

Just bring a bet of everything...........of if you need a hat or mittens, they sel them all over the place!

Easy if you're driving, flying may be a challenge. (hard to fit that space heater in the overhead bins)

It was 20 Celsius on my Deck in Nova Scotia yesterday .... it was 19 in Orlando ...

:confused3

Its looking better in the next few weeks or maybe I'm just being optimistic.

how can weather.com and accuweather.com be so different - one shows 80's and the other 69 for this Sunday!! Agree it's warmer here than there lately.

Sunny and warm all day today. High of 25C. Currently 20 C. We bought a thermometer! Don't sweat the weather! Next two days are also looking good! We have been using the pool at our villa everyday and the spa at night! Beats Ontario Winters anyday! Safe drive March Breakers!

C. :thumbsup2

So how warm does it have to be to go swimming do you think? I think 70. I know the pools are heated but the air can get chilly. So - according to the forecast, I plan on going swimming next week, but maybe I'll be the only one in the pool. I'm only worried about going to a waterpark and walking around wet and getting wet on rides and walking around wet and cold. Don't want to get sick while in Florida! :)

If the high is 70, it won't hit that until around 3 or 4 pm which means even cooler in the am. We have Aquatica tickets so we are going to have to brave the cold. Itr's still in the 50's this morning in Orlando.

The kids won't mind but I can't see me jumping in the water!!

As for travelling around parks - 70 is perfect weather for that!

Away we go tomorrow!!
