So, what is going on with everyone?
Today was theTeacher Appreciation Luncheon. I got corralled into helping with that. I got home and DS5 decided that while I was on the phone he was going to color on my couch with butch stick. For those that don't have boys that like the sticking up hair flippy thing, it is hair wax. I have yet to figure out how to get it out.... Then on the way home some stupid chick decided to drive in the middle of the road, one of those country back roads, and so I had to slam on the brakes and all of Chille's left over meatballs and sauce dumped out onto the floor of my car. Her husband just laughed at me when I brought the empty crock pot home. The good news is that my floor mat caught all of it so the mat is sitting in my kitchen drying as we speak

OK Meet and greet are 2/3 done pirate and princess are 3/4 done and I have A single rolodex cut out. Let's no go there K?

I have all but given up on that endeavor. No seriously, after I wrap up the swaps then I will do my page so ya'll can see it.
How about the April challenge?Well we finally have some blooms so that is this weekends project and soon as my sun comes back.

Anyone have plans for Mother's Day? Nope!!! Not a darn thing. I may or may not get cards and then more than likely DH will be off somewhere so I'll spend mommy's day playing taxi.

I sense a TAD bit of what?? Sarcasim or Anger in this post??? What is this? Could it be Frustration? Are we at WITS end???? Did we have a bad day???? I think the Buffinator needs some in her life!!!! She needs a little pick me up!!!! Perhaps a little to get her through the day????

Yep, frustration.. DH is out of town for the past 2 weeks (I think it's been 2) and the babies are all taking turns being sick.. Buffy, needs a break and a sitter to come over and let her get some sleep!!!

So, what is going on with everyone?

Busy, BUSY for me these last few days. Last week I was volunteered for a project at work ( I wasn't happy, and felt put upon, read used). Then I had 3 painting classes to teach this week, and my kid's science fair. I had my time planned, and I was good, till my Dad called to surprise me. Hey, he's up from FL for a few days, can we get together? So much for the plans I had made I hadn't seen my Dad since January 06...so my swaps and CJ's suffered, but I saw my Daddy

AND, another Blonde moment...let's just say when you want to blow the little paper bits out of your crop-a-dial hole puncher, take the big breath AWAY from the tool...anyone know how long it takes for cardstock to dissolve?

Any projects going? Way too many...CJs (late), Swaps, making quilted bags, planning for 3 painting classes, planning for jewelry class, planning card making classes (and a new Martha Stewart card making class)

How are swaps going? Well, I was late on my MGM swap, I could have overnighted it, but SIOH was really nice about it (thanks ). I'm OK, on the others, and things seem to be calming down now...

How are scrap goals coming? It's a good thing I don't set any, because I never get to my own stuff....

Yep, 2 weeks and counting. He is going back to CA next week, and after that I'm not sure. I did send everyone to school, DS5 went kicking and screaming but he went. So I am sitting here with DD in my lap, waiting for my friend to come over. We are going to a 12 hour crop on Sat so we're getting our stuff together. She is a night owl like me so we mesh well.

Anyone want to come over and keep me company!?!??!

The only other thing going on with me is that I badly burned my thumb and index finger at a fondue party tonight making typing and scrapping a little harder.

I was making the fondue not eating it when I got burned. It is feeling somewhat better but I will have to wait until the blisters pop for it to really get better.

So, what is going on with everyone?

My inlaws are here They came Tuesday afternoon. They stayed Tuesday night here, then they are staying 2 nights in a hotel, and Friday night here. Our guest bed is our futon which we normally use as a couch. The frame is broken. I have reglued it twice so far, but whenever it gets used as a bed, it rebreaks. I wanted them to stay at a hotel all nights, but DH didn't want them to think we didn't want them and didn't push it, but did tell them about the futon problems. The original plan was them just to stay the last night, because they would be getting up at o'dark thirty to start the drive home. They were going to spend Tuesday night with friends, but their friends had a family emergency and had to reschedule, so that's why they came on Tuesday. So at the moment the futon frame is rebroken.

Today is the day they are meeting with their friends, so they won't be with us until dinner time, so I finally had a little DIS time.

Any projects going?

Being nice and not divorcing DH? It hasn't been that bad, it's just very tiring to have to be "on" all the time. DMIL is crafty, she makes all her own cards so we can talk about the scrapping stuff, and now she is into beading. The four of us play cards a lot. But after 12 years with DH, I'm still not sure if DFIL really likes me or is being polite.

How are swaps going?

I have no swaps! It's very sad. And there aren't any Disney swaps until a Newbie Epcot at the end of June, so I don't quite know what I'll do with myself when I get back. Rebecca's MK swap is scheduled for 5/24, I will be still cruising, but maybe I'll try to get a spot or two saved before I go.

How are scrap goals coming?

I haven't scrapped a page in April. Did real well on the organizing this month though, since I had to clean the living room in advance of the visit. That reminds me, I have to post in that thread to say I was done!

Everyone can still come. Disney has had to do a semi-fire sale to try and fill this trans-atlantic cruise. They are selling Cat 12 GTY for like $899 pp for the first 2, and $99 for the 3rd and 4th person. People that have booked this are then getting upgraded to Cat 9s and 10s. The problems at this point for just hopping on board are passports and airfare back from Barcelona. But if anyone needs a 2 week vacation, has a passport and can find a flight home, we'd be happy to have you!

Back to reality, unpacking, doing laundry. I need to download all my pictures and organize my "stuff" - receipts, brochures, etc.

I always have about a dozen in the planning stages, working on 2 or 3. I'm making a baby album for a girlfriend. Her shower is in June - I need to finish before then.

I've got 4 pending that I have not done one single thing for yet. I'm hoping to start work on one tomorrow or Saturday.

How are scrap goals coming?
Pitiful. I've done pretty decent (for me) numbers wise for the year so far, but 99% of those pages have been for other people - 2 gift albums, CJs, a work-related album. I need to stake out some time for my own pages but I'm not sure when that will happen! It's always easier to scrap Disney pages so hopefully I'll make the time to work on this trip.
