OK, quick question about task 16

hey all, just wondering if maybe this task is kind of like a task from a quest we had a while ago. we had to play a game of checkers and win, however, people also found out that you could sell something and pass the task without winning the checkers game. could there be some way to get around playing the pirates game? since none of us seem to really be able to get into a game, let alone get 575. I've been reading the Blackheart story too, hoping for a clue as to how to get around the task. maybe it's a trick question, so to say. just a thought. opinions would be appreciated.

I don't think so. You can set a quest task on winning a mini game by a specific score. I have every reason to believe they set the score on that game alone.

Hmm, well first of all I didn't know that you could sell something in checkers lol. I played my heart out until I got money, so that was a blonde moment for me

Anyway, maybe if we found an item to sell that was worth more than 600.. then maybe that would work. But if it didn't work, then you would be selling a pretty rare item for nothing.

We could find somebody to risk and try it out, and I would be willing to do it.. but I don't know of any item I have that would sell for maybe 575 or more...

And, if the selling thing doesn't work, I don't think there will be anyway past pirates, other than to just play and play until you get it. My friends and I have this plan, but according to him, I can't tell anybody. But still, there is a big chance of our plan failing because of lag and disconnections.

Hope we can find somebody! (My eyes will be on this thread)

Thats not gonna work..
People have tried putting credits into quest machines and giving them to others, but nothing has worked..

There is a choice when makin a quest, that you can have people play a spicific game, and get a certain amout of pints to pass... so thats what is happening here.

nope, it didn't work, i tried it with an extra burried in treasure magic. it sells for 2000, but now i've just sold my extra magic and still can't finish the quest ROFL

Anyway, back on subject, I think the quest will be impossible, mainly because of so much disconnections and lags.
Think about it, when you start a game, most of us may DC, and we're replaced with AI's that don't give you anything. So what's us to do?
