We are staying at DLH. We have two kids who DONT want to share a bed, what are our options? THanks guys!!

Request a room with a pull out couch, or the bed/chair, you may not get it but ask for it.

Is it possible to book two rooms? That is what we do have them connect as our boys are too old to share beds, but not everyone can afford that, which is understandable.

I'm a mean mommy, if I were ponying up the cash to take them to Disney, I would think they could get over the cootie factor for a coule nights. Besides, they'll land in bed too tired to care.

If they are that picky, you could use the extra bedding in the closet and one can sleep on the floor. Maybe they could take turns and make a game of it. ;)

Grand Californian... Ask for a room with bunk beds... If $$$ is an issue... I believe there are kids suites at HoJo that have bunk beds as well...

Edit... I missed the part of your post where you said "DLH"... disregard my post!

I'd tell them, do you want to go to Disneyland or not? :) I know, easier said than done. Maybe bring a sleeping bag for the oldest as he is probably the one with the issue or let your DD sleep between you guys. Good luck!!

We have stayed at the DL Hotel bot before and after the remodel and our boys didnt want to share either.:)

Our room had a sofa that converts to a day bed plus we had a rollaway sent to our room. They have very nice rollaways, not the fold in half type but a twin size bed on wheels.

When we checked in, and I asked for the rollaway, the CM told me that since the remodeled the room layout does not allow one. I explained to her that we have always gotten the rollaway. She then said she would call housekeeping to check and sure enough, they got us a rollway!:cool1:

I am sure that I have pictures if you would like, I can try to post them. We had plenty of room. 2 Queens, the sofa/daybed and the rollaway. We put it next to the windows looking at DTD. I believe we were in the Adventure Tower.

Have a magical time! Our favorite is when we come back to the room and find chocolate Disney coins on our beds....even the rollaway!

The Trundle beds worked out great for us on our last trip to GCH, but during our short stay at the DLH last summer, the two queen rooms also had a couch, I think it folded out.

The couch/daybed work very well at the DLH. The staff of the disney hotels can do a lot to accomidate guests. :cool1:

When my kids were small they slept restlessly, and didn't share a bed well. I would share a bed with one kid, and my husband would share with the other. It worked out fine for us. Our third always took the pull out sofabed or used the rollaway....although rollaways can be pretty uncomfortable.

oh so the room has two queens and a couch or daybed?? THat would be awesome!! My DS (10) LOVES sleeping on couches!!

Alot of the rooms do, yes. We had a suite just before chirstmas when we had our wedding at the DLH, and in the main room they had a pull out. The reason I mention this is because our best man ended up coming solo, and instead of him having to pay for a room by himself, we offered for him to stay with us. Well he slept on the pull out in the living room area, and he said the bed was just great, better then most pull outs he had slept on. No bar in the middle of the back, solid base for the length of the bed.

So, for us it was nice that he had a good bed to sleep on even tho it was a pull out.

Make sure to ask for a room with a pull out couch if at all possible, they really do try to ensure that your room has what you need.
