right??? and bad thing is that humidity is really high right now...we arent known for having humidity issues at all but for some reason this year we seem to have gotten a lot of it:sad:

Have fun! Any dining reservations?

Yes....Cathay Circle, Blue Bayou, Ariel's dinner, wine country trattoria, carnation cafe, and big thunder BBQ

I covered all meals with sit downs, it's such a nice break.

We are celebrating my dH birthday at CArthay Circle :goodvibes

We are going to be at the Grand as well Sept 14th-15th, celebrating our 5th wedding anniversary. We have reservations at Ariel's and Carthay Circle, but might be cancelling the Carthay Circle reservations.

While at Disneyland we normally make reservations at Blue Bayou and just do a walk-in at the Carnation Cafe. But, since we do those all of the time, I told my husband that I wanted to switch it up.

Maybe we should also try Big Thunder BBQ.

honestly I wouldnt cancel CC...I would cancel Ariels before I canceled CC, especially if its your anniversary...but thats just me:confused3...I definitely would do BTBBQ though...the food is really good..

We're headed out that way tomorrow as well

I was looking forward to a break from Florida weather but apparently they decided to make me suffer!

First time to Universal - Hollywood, DL & CA, excited to get out there!

I apologize as I am surely the one to blame for the hot weather. I'll be there this weekend and it's so typical of my luck that I can't get away from Arizona temperatures.

I don't mind the heat, but I truly truly hate humidity (it's a big reason why I even live in Arizona!) so I'm pretty upset right now. :(

I was going to bring a few pairs of jeans and longer shirts for nighttime but maybe I shouldn't even bother!

lol...we are AZ too. I am not packing any jeans but did bring a light jacket for the mornings. I actually added a couple tank tops for the day Th/Fri...

;)

Oh I had tank tops in before I even saw the 90's weather! LOL Maybe I'm crazy, but I swear it's so much hotter in Disneyland than the temperature indicates, I assume because of all of the people around you. The last time I was there in May I believe it was only in the low 80's and I was awfully warm during the day. Ugh that makes me pretty scared for this weekend!

Bright side? Fewer crowds, maybe? Hopefully it'll be too hot for the locals to come out and play!

I have read the next few days should be low crowds:thumbsup2

Awesome! Being hot and sweaty might not be so bad if I'm not crammed in like a sardine with other hot and sweaty people. LOL

I was also planning on Big Thunder BBQ but I've never been there and I'm kind of concerned it'll be too warm to enjoy the meal. Is it shady enough to keep comfortable?

dana if you do BTBBQ like before noon or after the sun goes down then you will be fine...i wouldnt eat anything outside if its really hot...except ice cream or dole whip

I'm an AZan too and even though it'll be hot, still bring a long sleeved shirt or sweatshirt for morning and night. It's different w/ the humidity, but it'll be fine. We've had more rain and humidity he this summer, we should almost be used to it ;)

Have a blast!! I'm jealous, wish my trip were sooner!

That's what I was afraid of. :(

Looks like I'll be saving the BBQ until next time!

Oh no no. I am nowhere used to it. LOL I will never get used to sweating after being outside for 30 seconds! In the "dry heat" I'm usually good for a few minutes. Haha.

Thanks, we decided to keep both reservations. And we might try that BBQ, too.
