There is another thread asking people what their least favorite ride is. Now, what are your never-miss, every-time-we-go, cry-if-it's-closed attractions at WDW? It can be a ride, a show, a parade, whatever. I'm interested to hear the responses.

Mine are as follows:

5. Rock-n-Roller Coaster - pure joy, a blast. Some condemn it for being a "thrill" ride in a Disney park, but so much more well-themed than your average coaster.

4. World Showcase - not an attraction per se, but there is not one part we enjoy more than any other. With the kids, we love running into characters in their "native" countries. With DW, we love the sampling of different cultures, as it's the closest we will probably get for the forseeable future. Truly unique.

3. Haunted Mansion - classic, remains one of Disney's greatest adventures.

2. Timekeeper - haven't been since Feb 2001. Only open seasonally, and darn it, but I do miss it. I'm not a huge Robin Williams fan, but find him hilarious in this one. Love the music, the sights, and Rhea Perlman as 9-eye.

1. FANTASMIC! - absolutely, positively, IMHO the BEST attraction in any theme park anywhere. You really have to be a true Disney fan to fully appreciate this show, but we are, so it works on every level for us. DW even admitted to getting choked up will watching it. The fact that Disney pulls this show off every day is nothing short of amazing. We would almost pay a seperate admission for this. We love it that much! (Don't get any ideas, Mike).

1. I agree FANTASMIC is the best!

2. Splash Mountain The theme and the water!

3. Test Track I just think it is really cool!

4. Spectromagic and Illuminations I love the light and fireworks!

5. Tommorrowland Speedway I know it is old and slow but is a treasured memory from my very first trip 30 years ago. My older sister let me drive! (I was 10.)

1) Haunted Mansion (and it WAS closed the last time we went, and we DID cry!!)

2) TOT

3) Rock n RollerCoaster

4) Peter Pan

5) Buzz Lightyear

Nice thread, I am very eager to see the diverse replies.

5: Rock and Roller Coaster; This ride rules.
4; Dinosaur; The best attraction at AK.
3; World Showcase; I love trying the food from the places that I might not be able to visit.
2: Tower of Terror; The best ride ever created.
But the sure fire better not miss and must do at least 2-3 times every visit...
1; Who wants to be a Millionnaire: Play It; I have been on the hotseat twice but did poorly every time. Always failing to answer the 32,000 point question correctly. Karen made it to the 64,000 point question and won the Polo Shirt.
Will I ever win the cruise, very doubtful. Will I keep trying, definately!!!!

oh boy... this is always hard for me. SE and HM always change spots, so this is the list as it currently stands:

5. Space Mountain
4. Star Tours
3. Tower of Terror
2. Haunted Mansion
1. Spaceship Earth

I guess I have to add another. Indy Stunt Spectacular might have been number 5 too, I couldn't decide.

One for each park!

Tower of Terror (Studios)
Illuminations: Reflections of Earth (Epcot)
The Haunted Mansion (MK; the only thing there I absolutely refuse to skip until next time)
Festival of the Lion King (AK)
The Adventurers Club (DD/PI)

I've just noticed that most of these are NOT rides!

I think there should be MORE thrill rides at Disney...but not enough to turn it into IOA

1. The Haunted Mansion...a classic.

2. Splash Mountain

3. Space Mountain

4. SpectroMagic...I couldn't believe how great it was.

5. AeroSmith Rockn Roller Coaster

I will finally be seeing Fantasmic this April ( hopefully) so maybe my list will change afterwards...

My absolute favorite has to be Star Tours at MGM. I always manage to ride it 5 or 6 times. Then, Haunted Mansion, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Splash Mountain and then, even though it's not a ride, Swiss Family Robinson's Tree House.

This list will change after my 2nd trip in May of this year but after one trip:

#1) Big Thunder Mountain Railway especially at night

#2) Winnie The Pooh

#3) Splash Mountain (great storyline!)

#4) Monorail in general

#5) Star Tours (was hilarious)

Now for my DS (3 1/2):

#1) Jungle Cruise

#2) Monorail

#3) Minnie's House

#4) Winne The Pooh

#5) Safaris at AK

Now for my DW (6 months pregnant and a great sport on the trip)

#1) TTA

#2) Winnie the Pooh

#3) It's a Small World

#4) The characters (commedia players) at Italy, Epcot (OK not a ride but a major highlight for her as a Drama teacher)

#5) The pool at WL!!! (LOL)

I know her list we change next time after the baby (#2 DS or #1 DD we do not know)

Thanks
Jason

This is way too hard to narrow down!!!
RnRC for MGM
Spaceship Earth--Epcot
Kali RR--AK
Haunted Mansion and BTM--MK

But.....I absolutely love Fantasmic and Spectomagic!!!!

1. HAUNTED MANSION Oh if they ever dare close that one Disney will be in real trouble!

2. Dinosaur

3. Honey, I Shrunk the Audience

4. Alien Encounter

5. Star Wars

This is SO hard but....5 favorites, in random order...

1. The Boardwalk, I know its neither a ride nor an attraction, but it is just my favorite place in the whole wide world.

2. Tapestry of Dreams parade, specially when I was at #1 and could hear it faintly in the background:D

3. The Great Movie Ride

4. Peter Pan I have been on it many times before but on our last trip before MNSSHP my son and I rode it by ourselves and it was just totally cool :)

5. Fantasmic! We got to see it thanks to a CM I will never forget (Bob) the night before it opened to the public, it was for CM's and they had special invitations. Well, we were down by the entrance and he took us right in, and I just cried!!:) It was so incredible and everytime I listen to the soundtrack I cry as well. I even have 2 of the special invitations that people just left on the seats when they walked out. It was just an incredible night:D :D

1.) Splash Mountain

2.) Haunted Mansion

3.) Rockin Rollercoaster

4.) Space Mountain

5.) Kali River Rapids

Two of my all time favorites have already gone. They were Tapestry of Nations/Dreams parade in Epcot and Hunchback at MGM,

I love the Festival of the Lion King in AK.

Spending time in world showcase is always a must do.

We usually stop in at the exposition hall on main street on our way out of the park. Nearly every time we stop we are treated to what seems like a personal visit by several characters. Last time we stopped we were visited by all 7 dwarfs. There was only one other family group in there at the time.

Just walking down main street, taking in all the sights, sounds and smells. It is absolute candy for the senses.

My number 5th favorite which is rumored to be on the chopping block soon is the Grumman's Chinese theater in MGM. I love The Great Movie Ride but I really wouldn't care what ride they put in it as long as they kept the façade. I hate the fact that the giant sorcerers hat blocks it while walking down the main avenue.

1. Space Mountain, our favorite coaster
2. Illuminations
3. Fantasmic
4. Splash Mountain
5. Kali River Rapids

So many others may be top ten.

Haunted Mansion
Pirates of the Caribbean
Dinosaur
Illuminations
Fantasmic

This would be easier if broken down between rides and shows/events (in this case here's my list if you care)

Rides - HM, POC, Dinosaur, Peter Pan, Spaceship Earth

Shows/events - Fantasmic, Illuminations, Lion King, Spectro, FITS

I also enjoy TTA, entire WS including all the entertainment, the view down Sunset Blvd in MGM towards TOT, the singing fountain at Epcot, Buzz, MK Railroad, all the mountains, riding the front of the monorail, the boat ride to WL, the walk around CSR lake, ALL the music, all the parades, both 3 d movies, WWTBAM, all the stage shows at MGM, COP (I haven't seen this in a dog's age)....did I miss anything?

Great thread! Hard to pick just 5, but here goes:

1) Its a Small World--have to ride this at least twice if not more per trip

2) Haunted Mansion

3) Hall of Presidents

4) Pirates of the Caribbean

5) Big Thunder Mountain Railroad

I know, they're all at the Magic Kingdom, but it is my most favorite place in the World :Pinkbounc

Gee, only 5 favorites? I don't do coasters or "drop" rides, so:

Haunted Mansion
Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin
Dinosaur
Alien Encounter
Magic of Disney Animation (not a ride, but a must)

Those are just absolute favorites. We never miss Body Wars, Living With the Land, World Showcase, Imagination, Tough To be A bug, or Pirates. Basically, love everything but coasters and Small World.

Yikes, this is hard.

1) FESTIVAL OF THE LION KING!! I would make a trip all the way to Florida just to see this again!

2) POC.

3) Big Thunder Mountain Railroad.

4) The Great Movie Ride.

5) Haunted Mansion.
