There is another thread asking people what their least favorite ride is. Now, what are your never-miss, every-time-we-go, cry-if-it's-closed attractions at WDW? It can be a ride, a show, a parade, whatever. I'm interested to hear the responses.
Mine are as follows:
5. Rock-n-Roller Coaster - pure joy, a blast. Some condemn it for being a "thrill" ride in a Disney park, but so much more well-themed than your average coaster.
4. World Showcase - not an attraction per se, but there is not one part we enjoy more than any other. With the kids, we love running into characters in their "native" countries. With DW, we love the sampling of different cultures, as it's the closest we will probably get for the forseeable future. Truly unique.
3. Haunted Mansion - classic, remains one of Disney's greatest adventures.
2. Timekeeper - haven't been since Feb 2001. Only open seasonally, and darn it, but I do miss it. I'm not a huge Robin Williams fan, but find him hilarious in this one. Love the music, the sights, and Rhea Perlman as 9-eye.
1. FANTASMIC! - absolutely, positively, IMHO the BEST attraction in any theme park anywhere. You really have to be a true Disney fan to fully appreciate this show, but we are, so it works on every level for us. DW even admitted to getting choked up will watching it. The fact that Disney pulls this show off every day is nothing short of amazing. We would almost pay a seperate admission for this. We love it that much! (Don't get any ideas, Mike).
