I wanna use 2008 to get better at my photography so I posted up some photos I took at the MNSSHP parade and then edited over on the DIS photography board to ask for criticism. 76 views and not a single person commented, they've dropped onto page 2 now.

Are they really so bad that EVERYONE wants to spare my feelings? Even someone taking them apart would have been appreciated if they had explained what I did wrong. :confused3

Off to look. I just got my new DSLR and don't know a lot about it yet, but I love looking at everything over there!:)

If you go on the photography section of 2peas, they've just launched the 1st of 12 lessons on taking better photos. There'll be one up each week explaining a basic premise (this week it's apature). First one at least is excellent as the pictures explain what the text is wittering on about!

Queenie I'll check them out tonight... I'm running out the door but I'll go check them out.... I don't venture over there too much... too scared they speak to much greek for me...in photo terms....

I will have to check out 2peas for the better photo lessons though!!!

Can you post a link?

I posted there once on a thread about pictures of light fixtures in WDW - no one even noticed :sad1: so don't take it personally ;)

I'll check out your photos -- but I don't know anything at all about photography. We went to MNSSHP this year and I had a terrible time taking photos and I asked for tips before we left!! I have posted a number of questions on the photography board and have gotten a fair number of replies.

Thank you thank you thank you!!!!! for the link to the photography class...I really need to figure out how to use my camera more effectively.

Feel free to borrow them, I'd be interested to see how you scrap them. I have hundreds of night shots from our last trip as we did Vegas and then I took my tripod around the parks during evening EMH. I'm looking for ways to scrap them without them all looking samey.
