Ok now I am very confused.. HELP!

So earlier last week I posted a question about Fireworks and Dl closing early, and someone mentioned to me that there was no Fireworks for the days of my stay.. April 26th and 27th. I went to the official Disneyland hours under the "plan your trip" section... it does say.. no fireworks and the park closes at 9 pm. But.... on this Dis board site... way at the top there is a clickie that gives you options so I clicked DL park hours and scrolled down to the day I was visiting.. and there it says the park is open till 10 pm and there is fireworks.. it says this is official park hours and parade times.

So which one is right? Prolly the Disneyland site? Which would explain why I got so upset when I found out there was no fireworks scheduled AFTER I booked my flight and hotel. I was reading the info off this site. Has this happened to anyone else? Somebody should fix that!

Unfortunately, I am going to guess the DL website is correct. Not sure what to say about the DL Park hours tab here - it is possible that DL changed the hours and it has not been updated at the Disboards.

Sorry you will miss the fireworks!

Yes, sorry. I have read about a few others making this mistake before. The official Disneyland site is correct. The calendar on the DISboards is not accurate.

Yeah, there seems to be several errors like that. It drives me crazy that the menu database isn't totally accurate either. People are always asking about the monte cristo sandwich at the BB because it's not listed on the disboard menus. I love the disboards but the "official" DLR info seems to be lacking. Sorry to hear your got misinformation for your trip. But be positive. You'll still have a wonderful trip!

/cry... it was a long shot of hope... but I will do everything I can to have a great day for my lil boys 2nd birthday even if there is no fireworks.

That really does stink especially since it says these are OFFICIAL hours in big red letters. I never noticed that link before. I really don't think they (DIS) should post such a link, unless someone updates it daily. Everyone who has ever looked at the real calendar knows it changes.

I am sorry that you will be missing the fireworks, but can you bring some of your own fireworks by any chance? I know that they would not be like the professional show that Disney does, but a little something might just do for toddler. Real basic would be the party poppers, confetti, and those little things that you throw down on the ground and they make a popping noise. I am just trying to figure something that would put some little pizazz in for his birthday.

Those are great ideas Giselle! I haven't thought of that before... since I am flying ... I better wait till his party with the family on Sat. for that idea, but I love it! I figured we would prolly hit up the pool a few times, since he loves water. Maybe a character dinner at Goofys. I know he wont eat it- but just to see him with all the characters would be special. Trust me, I will have him so wore out. I cant wait to go!

Yep a Mon. & Tues. in late April is off season, you'll only see fireworks on the weekend nights. Have fun.

That would be a great idea, except fireworks are illegal in Anaheim (here in AZ too). So while party poppers are fine, I'd definitely not try to let off firecrackers or anything else unless you want to get slapped with a fine.
