ok, no Disney Dollars here, what stores are open though?

Hi...I know there have been recent closures, renovations, soft openings and more. Can anyone confirm any definitely open Disney Stores in the GTA? I want to buy Disney Dollars for Christmas gifts and hope to buy some here, rather than order from WDW. I am in Kitchener Waterloo, and assume the nearest stores would be in the GTA. TIA!

You cant buy Disney Dollars here in Canada.

I was once told that you could order them directly from WDW, but I am not sure where you would call to do that.

You have to call guest services at WDW and they will take your order and ship them to you.

I have the address to write to so that I can order dollars directly from WDW. i was hoping to avoid this by finding out what stores are open and where so maybe I could call to check about purchasing in Canada. Maybe we can only buy MYW tickets up here?

Try the store at Lime Ridge Mall in Hamilton....it is located on Upper Wentworth they may sell them.

Nope they don't we have asked and the reson we are given is they don't want to deal with the exchange etc that has to be paid on the disney dollars. Now they are owned by The Childrens Place they are not even offering any DVC discounts etc so DD's will not likeley ever appear for sale in a CDN Disney Store.

Thanks to all who replied. I didn't really think I could get DD here, but I was hoping! So, I'd still like to know which stores are open around GTA. I still want to go and shop for Christmas! So we have: Hamilton, Scarborough Town Centre...any others open for sure? Since I'm not local I'd like to know for sure before making the drive! Thanks again.

The one in the Eaton Centre is still open, I was just there today.

I think there is one just opened or opening soon in the Vaughn Mills Mall.

The one at Vaughan Mills is open and it's an outlet mall. We were there last weekend and the Halloween costumes were 25% and 50% off.
