He's put the alarm clock setting to wake me up to Country Music.:rolleyes: I can't stand Country music! He sets the clock for me because he knows I'll forget.:) We have a dual alarm clock-he sets his to one of the local Country music stations, mine is supposed to go off with that annoying BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! sound. Well this morning I was asleep, sleeping comfortably. I started dreaming about Toby Keith.:eek: I struggled to wake myself up and I realized the alarm was going off and that flag song of his was playing. I think I'll tell my SO about the dream.:) I'm sure he'll switch the alarm back to it's proper setting for me for now on.:teeth:

Shannon have you seen toby Keith? hubba hubba tha must of been some dream.;)

HEATHER! Did you tell Allen to do that?:mad: ;)

Beccy, let's just say the dream can't be posted on the dis.;) Yes, I've seen him, and blondes don't do it for me.;) I like his deep voice though.;)

Don't know what Toby Keith looks like Shannon. :( Will I want to replace Mel after seeing Toby?

(He set it to country music because he knew you would be aggrevated and wake up to shut it off) ;)

Marilyn, uh, no. Mel's much better lookin' than Toby.:) Toby does the 10-10-220 commericials (big guy with the cowboy hat-my dd is in love with him.:rolleyes: ).

I think he set it to Country so I'd have something to complain about.;)

I do this to my teenage daughter. lol It gets her up, that's for sure. Then I have to listen to the "mom what are you trying to do to me!"
:p

I beg your pardon, I'm of the African-American persuasion and I love me some Trisha Yearwood, Randy Travis, and Dolly Parton. WHO PUT THE DRUGS IN MY DRINK??? :p :rolleyes:

To each his own Shannon, but really, I do love country music. I got one for you, program SO's radio to RAP music and see what happens!!!! :crazy: :teeth:

Later,
~~~Denise :Pinkbounc :bounce:
Set your alarm clock to something he hates (disco? Baha Men?)and see how he likes it.
Laurie, he bought an Alabama's greatest hits cd on Sunday. His truck and car only have cassette players, my truck has a cd player. He wondered why I didn't want to listen to it.:rolleyes: I think I need to change his station to classical-just for the heck of it. He hates classical-I like classical.:p I prefer hard or soft rock, though. But to wake up, I need that buzzing going off.:)
Antnee, my SO has brown hair (or used to, it's salt/peppery right now:) I like the salty look too:teeth: ). 2 blondes just can't get along. Personalities clash.:teeth:
Denise, give me rap any day over that country stuff.:eek: LOL! How can you stand that country stuff?:eek: I can stand a little-very little-of Patsy Cline. And I have been known to quote some old country stuff when I'm depressed (very depressed), but I don't like the twanginess of country. I guess someone put something in my drink as well.;) I live in redneckville, drive a 4 wheel drive truck and I detest country music.:eek: I'm a freak, I guess.;) My SO's family thinks I'm crazy because I don't enjoy mud bogging either.:p
LOL, Janice. I could put the station on any of the stations I prefer to make him suffer.:p He and I have completely different tastes in music (we do both like Fleetwood Mac, but that's about it. I told him he has no taste in music.:p ).
My daughters like all kinds of music. So do I for that matter.
It really flips some kids out when they go through my dd(16)'w CD case. Everthing from Charlie Daniels, Kitty, Marilyn Mason, to Bach and Betoven.
I have a friend at work whose 4 year-old granddaughter insisted on hearing a tape of "Who Let the Dogs Out?" repeatedly on a car trip.
My friend and her husband's ears were bleeding by the end of the trip. :p Literally!
I can imagine, Janice. My son's favorite song right now is Queen's We are the champions. We have to listen to it over and over and over and over again anytime we go anywhere. I'd have a fit, but he sings along to it and it's so cute listening to him.:) He thinks I don't hear him sing.:) I sent someone a song similiar to the Baja Men's one time. It was, I think, something about Snow White. I think I got it off the disney.com. Her grandkids loved it (a few thousand times over:p ).
Laurie, I like any music except for country and opera. There are some groups in each music category that I don't like-I can't stand Tom Petty, I can't stand Eminem (sp?), etc. I'm not set on just 1 type of music.:) I'm the radio flipper in the truck when we go places.:teeth: He's the channel clicker at home with the tv, I'm much worse with the radio.:p He's learned to tune my music out.:teeth: Unless I put in my Baby Rhapsody cd.:teeth: All classical.:) Then he has a fit.:p
Shannon, do you know what you get when you play a country song backwards? :confused:
You get your house back, your truck back, your SO back, your dog back........ :p
LOL, Jay.:teeth:
Lea Ann, ;) . Just be glad I didn't dream about your dh again (get your minds out of the gutter-guys, it wasn't that kind of dream:p). I still need to redo my resume in case he decides he needs to hire another programmer.:p The salary he quoted in my dream was tempting.:p
LOL! I do think you and Allen are conspiring against me, Heather.;) I bet you're a Phil Collins fan too.;)
