We are going to WDW for our 15th anniversary and I have one of those guys that if I ask if he would like something he always says, "I'm all set." That drives me crazy
Anyhow, if you were celebrating your anniversary at WDW, what would you like for a gift?? And I know if I asked my dh he's be like I've got everything I need right here, but I still want to get him something!
So...any ideas?? We are going to Le Cellier that night and the kids will be with us as well...so no nightclubbing or anything like that:)
He's done the Richard Petty riding experience (not driving)...so maybe the Rookie experience?? Any other ideas?

A round of golf :confused3 . DH loves the courses there!!!

without knowing him it would be hard, but I would like the driving expierence, like you said maybe up it to the rookie...or what about a nice watch or ring soemting along those lines. Or for the price of that stuff, maybe there is something local ou can get him...year pass for golfing or something he likes...season tickets to a local sporting team or theater what ever he is into?

Nice exspensive liqours? There are some nice tequilas and brandy's and such I would love to try but could never justify paying some of thse prices, but since its a gift I would like to get that...lol

Who I Just rememeber...lol EPCOT.

I bought the best glass of wine I have ever had there but it was almost $20.00 just for the 3 ounce taste, I WOULD LOVE A BOTTLE OF THAT STUFF!!! LOL

Maybe something along those lines.

A round of golf would be great if he plays golf. If he is really into golf, maybe even a lesson.

I would LOVE to someday do the Petty Experience. But I want to DRIVE. I know it is expensive, but I think it would be worth it.

What else........

Well, I can't really think of much else I would want.....

Just being at Disney is quite enough for me.

How about a really cool Disney Golf shirt?

I've tried to answer this question subtlety before and not quite gotten my point across, so let me be blunt. As guys, we are real good about buying ourselves whatever "stuff" we want. I honestly think the majority of guys would rather have the following than any "thing" our wives could buy:

Hire a sitter for the kids and instead of giving the guy a gift wrapped package, wear a bow on your head - and nothing else - and give the guy a night of pleasure he will never forget.

What is dh like?? Well, he loves sports...he used to golf but hasn't in about 17 years...he's not a wine drinker (likes beer)...I'm aiming more towards the Richard Petty driving experience (the one where he drives). But would still love to hear other ideas:)
Thanks everyone!

I am obviously not male (with the name Laura..lol) but couldn 't resist answering this. I believe that the above poster is absolultely RIGHT! If you ask any other female, they would think of the golf etc (which is nice), but what he would remember forever would be a night he could never forget. That is a male prospective that I don't completely understand, but I believe it to be true!

I have to agree, this is what my DH would like. Disney does have sitters.

My boyfriend really likes DOING stuff. He insists that there is nothing material her really needs nor do we have room for any more junk lying around the house. I thought about a hot air balloon ride but i chickened out before ordering it.... Don't think i'd like being up that high!

I think that if he's into the race car thing he'd probably like the driving experience. BUT... wouldn't you rather pick something you can do together for an anniversary? Just my opinion.

Good luck finding a gift. If he says there's nothing material that he needs/wants i think you're on the right track with an "experience". (Dolphin encounter maybe?)

Every year my DW asks me much the same thing -- what do I want for my birthday, our anniversary, Christmas, etc. Every year my response is almost identical to salmoneous'. What do I want? -- I want you. I've never specified the bow was to be on her head, but the phrase "you in a ribbon" has been used more times than I care to count. Simple and to the point. I must say that after 15 years I'm still waiting for that gift...

We'll be celebrating our 16th anniversary while at the WL in August. I am currently looking into some "us" time while the 5 year old enjoys the Cub's Den or The Neverland Club...

I once helped a female friend, Jen, who was trying her darndest to seduce a great guy she knew. They had gone out to dinner and she told them they were to meet some of her out-of-town friends who were passing through the area. They were staying at a hotel a few miles away and would meet after dinner. Matt secretly wasn't thrilled about not going to a movie that night, but he was a good sport about it and agreed to meet a few of her college friends. They had dinner and went to the hotel. They walked to the room and entered. Matt had no idea what was happening - he was actually looking for her friends! It was only after she started lighting a few candles it finally dawned on him...

You can try much the same thing: Tell the DH you want to have a nice dinner out without the kids. Book the munchkins into one of the Disney childcare spots and have him drop the kids off (as you're not quite ready getting dressed for the evening). Once he returns to the room to pick you up for dinner -- and finds you wearing little more than the bow, he should quickly realize that tonights dinner is Room Service!

Our 25th is two months away and I'm pretty much "all set" too. I can't think of anything else I would like/need.

Have you done a Segway tour? See below.

Hire a sitter for the kids and instead of giving the guy a gift wrapped package, wear a bow on your head - and nothing else - and give the guy a night of pleasure he will never forget.

::yes:: :rotfl:

Somehow I don't think combining the two would be a good idea ... I suspect Naked Segway wouldn't go over so well at EPCOT. Then again, it would be a good test for the gyros...

:lmao:
no, I don't think naked and a segway are a good mix....

Maybe you could surprise him w/ a nice dinner of his favorite food & while you at it, you can throw in a nice bottle of his favorite wine.

This IS exactly what any DH would want.

If you can book it, perhaps one of the Illimunations cruises at Epcot with a bottle of your favorite wine or champagne... kids optional.

Naked Segway!
