OK, looking for IT geniuses - SOLVED

My printer has gone flaky. It's an Epson Workforce 845 (wireless connection). For some reason the computer says it's off line. Here's what I've tried/done:

Rebooted Printer
Rebooted Computer
Unplugged Printer
Joined Printer back to the Wifi
Uninstalled Printer from PC.
Tried installing printer on PC, PC can't find printer.
Router does NOT show a connection to the printer.
Printer shows connection to the router
I can ping the printer from the PC
I can access the printer's menu from a web browser on the PC

I don't know what else to try at this point.

Any suggestions?

Can you click on the printer icon on your desktop and see if there is a tutorial there? I had to do that when we had a similar issue with our printer.

There is no printer icon on the desktop.

Try going to the Epson website and see if you can download the printer driver from there onto your PC.

Maybe reinstall the drivers?

Now I might be seeing something different since I'm on a Mac and it's showing the Mac drivers. There may not be downloadable drivers for PCs if they're supposed to be automatically available in Windows.

I downloaded the drivers and tried to install, but the PC couldn't see the printer.

I rebooted the router and now it connects.

Rebooting the router was going to be my next suggestion. Glad you got it figured out.
