The lake in the center of SSR will boats be there? Or do you think you will only be able to do water stuff in the big lake by DTD PI?

There was no mention of a marina / boat rental in the POS, so I wouldn't count on it.

At the old DI, the central lake was one of the docks where the boat to DD picked you up. It was very convenient. I don't know why they are only using the one dock behind the main buildings.

In comparing old maps and aerial photos of DI and the current maps of SSR, I have noticed that quite a bit of work has been done in changing the "lake" on which the Springs buildings will overlook. I'm not familar with where the docks at DI were located -- but could these changes have something to do with the reduction to one dock? Just wonderin' aloud.

Possibly. The DI dock was behind the snack bar/rental building, to the right of the pedestrian bridge and to the left of the pool and little inlet. It was real convenient to the bungalows around WIllow Lake

I wonder why they didn't keep a dock at Willow Lake? As many have said here already, the current location of the dock leaves much to be desired.
