[I know...I really really loved the Poly, but it is just sooooo expensive! And there are so many cool resorts, I want to try them all. I can't justify staying there again. Plus, I think Dani would be pissed if I made her stay at FQ and let her sister stay at the Poly

Today I am leaning more towards AoA. Pretty excited about that even though it's only like a 15% discount.....still cheaper than the Poly. And the kids splash area looks so fun! At first I didn't think I wanted to because all they have to do for recreation is the pool.....but honestly, in August....all we are going to want to do is be in the water. Or in our room cooling down and AoA gives us much more room to do that in. We'll see, I'm sure I will change my mind a hundred times before my July 3rd payoff date. I'll keep you posted.

If you end up at AoA... I am definately going to meet you there - I am dying to see one of the rooms, especially the Cars rooms - those look the most awesome of any of them!

[Well, that's good to know. I honestly don't care if we go on ToT, but Space is a must do. They have rider swap if worst case is he gets to the front of the line then refuses to go on it. I've never used rider swap, but I'm sure we can figure it out.

Well, the day we are in MK together - I can hang out with Bradey while you and DN and my girls ride Space together... No problemo there. Bradey and I can always go for a spin on the TTA or CoP. That is, if you're still comfortable with doing that after you meet me.

No contest between the Poly and AoA....if you haven't stayed there before. I just have a goal of staying at each and every one of the resorts over my time, so I am having a hard time going back to the Poly right now. But gosh, it is just so amazing! And with 30% at the Poly vs 15% at AoA....it is only a couple hundred more to go Poly. Can I pass that up?? And to have all the transportation options in that heat?? Oy...tough decision once again! Seems like I do this every single trip! It would be so much easier if it was just two of us....I would stay at FQ again in a heartbeat. Loved that place!

ToT was okay. I'm just not sure about it for Bradey.

Oh, and I forgot to tell you....if we stay AoA, it will be either Lion King (my choice) or Nemo (Bradey's choice). I don't like the looks of the Cars rooms at all. I love the outside of the Cars area, but the rooms just look hideous to me. That couch looks like vinyl....and that won't be very comfy in the cold AC or sweaty heat.

I want Lion King because I think it is more convenient to the buses. Plus, the Nemo suites usually are not included in the discounts. But Bradey likes them, so if they are discounted for the second half of the summer, maybe.... I like the bathrooms much better in the Lion King section, but I could deal with the dark submarine ones if I had to. I have been searching for AoA trip reports, but so far, all I can find are Little Mermaid ones. Can't find anyone who has stayed in a suite yet.

I don't blame you - I really don't. I am having a hard time paying for a Mod. I just can't wrap my mind around the fact that my trip is sitting at $3600, and I don't even have park tickets on there yet. And that doesn't include airfare.

OMG - you are sooo right. Duh - yes, of course, Bradey has an opinion in this. I sometimes forget that our kids don't know our Dis friends at all. And I also forget that Bradey won't be with you at MOA - so my girls will get a chance to meet you all, but Bradey will have just met us.

when going threw my dilemma between AoA and Poly i was Def going to stay in the Lion King room... Meg's favorite movie is the Lion King, and thought it cool for the boys too so win win situation.

My DH is up in Portland for a couple of days for work... he said if feels kind of cold to him... but snow is all gone... looks like Spring has sprung for you...

I am laughing reading this back and forth about resorts... I've changed my mind on resorts up to a month ahead...

I'm curious to see where you wind up...

Well I've decided that we are definitely....for sure....almost positive...probably going with AoA. So you will have plenty of time to check out the resort because you will have to come see our room. But we will just play it buy ear. I don't want you to schedule it in...if you have other things to do, please don't throw other plans out just for that. I am still hoping we can do the Dessert Party?? Where do we stand on that again? Are we discussing it in May in person? Refresh my memory...

Yeah, I like the Nemo rooms too, but I just thought they would be really noisy right next to the pool. Everyone will be walking by that way no matter where they are staying. I think the Cars section will probably be the quietest, but those rooms don't interest me at all. Definitely want to check out the outside of that section, but I don't like their room decor.

I love the decor of the LK rooms. And trying to picture our typical morning....we will go tot he food court for breakfast almost every day. Then back to the room to brush teeth and put mugs away. Then to the buses. From the map, it looks like LK will be the closest to the buses. It looks like we can cut around the main building to the bus stop. That's the theory anyway. And there isn't much going on in the LK section outside...so I think it will be more quiet. But still a short walk everywhere. Plus...sometimes the Nemo rooms are not offered at the discount because apparently they are the most popular. It's only 15%, but hey, that's enough to sway me to the Wild Side

Well, it's beautiful out today, but it has been cooler than normal around here so far this whole year. We are slowly losing snow. Our lawn is still about 1/2 covered...while most everywhere else is gone. We are on a hill, so maybe way up in the higher altitudes it takes longer to melt

Yeah, I have commitment issues every time I book a Disney trip. I went through this last Feb between POFQ and Poly. I went through it last July between POFQ and Poly and BC. And now I am doing it again. Poly/POR/AKL/AoA. And I even through BC in there again....I would love to try BC, but I hate that there are so many different room types. I want to know for sure how many and what size beds are in the room. *SIGH* Someday I will try BC.

As of now, I have totally decided on AoA Lion King. I have told Sara and changed my resort choice on the FB group doc. I just haven't called Disney to switch it yet. I wish you could pay and change things online. I really can't believe that Disney doesn't offer this feature in their reservation system. Wouldn't it save lots of money not having so many CMs for their call center??

I promise I will finish up the last couple days on my FL mini TR. Just been really busy around here lately and the weather is getting nicer, so I have been outside more. I am trying to get in better shape, so I have been walking every night and that takes away from my DIS time. But I am still very much here and will finish it up soon. Then it will be almost time for my next mini TR to the Mall of America! I am so excited for this trip. Even though people around here that were supposed to be "friends" are making me feel horrible about taking it.

See....my little guy, Bradey, is in Kindergarten and his first school field trip is on the day I leave. So I can't go. He doesn't ride the bus and he is scared out of his mind to have that be his first ride. They are going to the ocean and that is about an hour bus ride from here. That's a long ride for his first trip. I really really wish I could go with him. I have tried to talk to him about it and make it sound like so much fun. But he just has no interest in going without me. He had a huge breakdown tonight when we talked about it again. Crying his eyes out to the point of hiccuping sobs I just don't know what to do. I knew this trip was coming up, but I honestly didn't think there was ANY chance of it being that week because they already have the Monday off for Memorial Day. And why are they going to the ocean when it is still so chilly out....they still have a month of school after that...can't they go in June sometime??

Just so frustrated with his school....many aspects of it right now. But I told him tonight, after seeing how truly upset he is about this, that we will not force him to go. It is just a trip to the beach...we do that many times in the summer....he isn't going to miss much. I don't want him to stress about it for the next two months.

But the whole thing has kinda put a damper on my super fun girls trip And some of the other PERFECT LITTLE PTC MOMS are just being so rude about it. Calling me out in the middle of the PTC meeting tonight...making me feel like the worlds worst mom. Grrr.....just so glad there is only one more PTC meeting!

Okay, sorry. Just had to vent there a little. So, would you make him go? Or let him stay home that day?? Oh and just FYI...pigs would have to fly before hubby would do it. He hates the beach and he is not a people person, so for him to hang out with all the b**chy PTC moms at the beach would never happen!

I was able to switch my CRT ADR from 6:45 to 4:20... MK closes at 11pm that night - and it is also a "park to avoid"... ACK!!! But we will be fine - breathe.... So, I am leaning towards doing the dessert party with you.

I just need to go through all of our plans again, because with the Best Parks updated last week - some of the park hours changed as well. MK was closing at 10pm on this particular day, and now it closes at 11pm - which is totally fine, I am NOT complaining... But it just means that I need to rework our schdule a little bit. But because of the park hours changing - I think that the dessert party will definately be OK.

We can talk about it more via text or PM if you'd like.

This makes me so angry!!! They are giving you crap about coming to see me... ME!!! Clearly they are jealous.

I kind of agree with you - and I totally understand your inner struggle... But since Bradey does get ocean trips a lot - I don't see any reason why he HAS to go - if riding the bus upsets him that much - it is just not worth all the anxiety he has about it. I would definately not make him go.

So, I just spent the last 2 hours fixing my spreadsheets to reflect the AoA vs POR plan. Less DTD...more hanging at the resort. I had originally wanted to do a couple meals at DTD because I still haven't tried Earl of Sandwich or Wolfgang. But in reality...it is just too hot to walk around down there. And Bradey is goign to get sick of shopping pretty fast. So I scrapped that plan and made a few dining changes as well. I am pretty excited about trying all the yummy things they have at Landscapes of Flavor. Tandoori stuff....Guava pastries....Yummy Naan bread with lots of stuff. I mean, check out the description of this breakfast sandwich (copied from AllEars) "Breakfast Sandwich - Naan bread with scrambled egg, slab bacon and cheese sauce". Yum!

And with MYO yogurt, pasta, burgers and salads...we might not eat anywhere else all week!
