OK, I've got another one for you...(gifts)Clarified on post 6

Ok, I need to clarify. She gets the DIL's gifts from her and our FIL. But everybody else gets one from "Santa." It confused the kids but I wondered what everybody else thought. "Why didn't Santa leave a gift for Mommy?"
The 2 oldest sons with kids told her to stop it when the kids were starting to catch on. They told her she'd had her turn to play Santa, now it was our turn.

"Santa" never gave us presents so they would not give it a second thought. In fact, my kids would think it was weird if Santa left gifts for the parents at the MIL's house.
Now if Santa left them gifts, they would be happy. If they questioned it, I would just say something positive like, how lucky you are, Santa knew you were coming to Grandma's and left you something, etc...

What I think is that this woman is a pain the rear! How rude to intentionally leave the DILs out! I also think that next year at Christmas you should be travelling and not deal with MIL at all. (WDW sounds good.)
