Its time for me to start some abdominal work. I have been faithly doing cardio everday, I know it is time to start bumping up my work outs to include some muscle toning.

Does anyone have any good exercise tapes or books that they could recommend?

I HATE doing sit ups

Thanks in advance!

Sit ups suck! But if you do them religiously, they get so much easier, and results do show in a hurry! Try Pilates. It really works the abdominals, without feeling too much like crunches. It is slower paced, and can be done evern when you feel like caca. Good luck!

Keep the Faith!

try pilates!!! I think it has made quite a difference in my abs -- still a little fluff hiding them but they are stronger. I don't think pilates is near as boring either

I have the QuickFix DVD -- 8 different pilates or yoga sessions to mix and combine into a custom workout and I really like it. I like Kathy Smith's lower body pilates too. Check your library to try before you buy!

The QuickFix workouts are good, mixing them up keeps you from getting bored. I also have Tamilee Webb's "I want that body" DVD, a very good intense workout and you can choose just the ab work or the whole thing.
You can find her stuff on ebay.
