OK, I'm still confused about the Downtown Disney buses

But I think I'm finally catching on!

They ONLY run from DD to the resorts, and NOT AT ALL to the parks, right? (I think I am confused because I remember they used to, in the past . . . but we've been using the Disney bus system since 1999, so I may be remembering an old policy).

Also, do they still make 3 DD stops? I remember them stopping at Marketplace, Pleasure Island, and West Side, but the last few times we went, I think they did not stop at West Side anymore. Is that right?

Finally, do they still have the Transportation Guides? I remember those really big charts that have "From" and "To" on each side, and then the recommended combination to get you there ...

They only make two stops at DD, Marketplace and Pleasure Island. They haven't stopped at the West Side in awhile. Good thing, because that was one freakin' long bus ride.

And to answer you last question - no they don't make those transportation mpas anymore. We haven't gotten one in at least two years.

I am having a really hard time re-training these old brain cells . . . and the Downtown Disney buses always confuse me . . .

I have one of those transportation maps from my trip this past Dec. We got it at check in with the dining resturants listed. The bus routes are located on the back of the brochure. It was just as you described "From DTD" "To AKL" etc.
