OK , Im going to try this again, I have a question

You do ask for a reservation. Renting points won't do you any good, only members can make reservations.

Best use of DVC points is for the DVC resorts. While we can make ressies for some other Disney hotels (your request for Floridian), it actually is stepping outside of our system and is not a good use of points (very expensive).

If you didn't get much response, it's probably because you are barely a bit more than 30 days out. The place is virtually sold out, members know that, and if they want to rent out their points will probably move on to a request that is more likely to lead to success for their efforts.

I apologize about the other 3 blank postings. I have no idea
what happened. I wrote up my question and then clicked on the
summit , but it came up blank. I don't know how to delete them
or edit them ,,

It's not you fault. The boards had some problems. All the functions still aren't fully operational, yet. Techs are working on the glitches. :)

I agree with mikesmom, you probably waited too late. You might get lucky, but even if you did there is not going to be much of a savings. DVC members realize that under a month at BC is VERY hard to get. Friday night is very high in point cost. 32 points for a studio for example (times $10 to $13 a point.....) The other places you list would cost a lot more.

As was pointed out points are a better deal for weeknights ONLY at DVC resorts. (which the YC and Floridian aren't)

The Yacht Club is also not a DVC resort and it would ultimately cost more to stay there on points for you.

Most members make their reservation 7-11 months ahead of time to get their home resort advantage. You need that at the BCV, BWV and VWL.
