ok im freaking out..someone talk me down!!

i have been sick now for 3 weeks!! it started with a sore throat, then to fevers and flu type symptoms. and now ive just spent the last 3 hours throwing up!!
i know, my trips not for another 17 days, but seriously ive been sick for so long now, i feel its never going to go away!!!
what am i going to do??????

Please please PLEASE go to the doctor! Most likely, you just happened to catch one thing right after another (it happened to me over the winter), but just to be on the safe side, make an appointment with your doctor to get checked out....

its funny when it comes to my kids, i take them at every little thing, but it never even crossed my mind that I should go to the dr

I would at least go and get a throat culture. Could be strep and you don't really want to give that to your kids before you leave. Really any sickness that gets progressively worse over 7 days deserves a trip to the doctor.

I honestly didn't mean to scare you...I'm sorry!

My standard rule of thumb is if I'm sick for longer than one week, or I get progressively worse, I go to the doctor. The one time I didn't and tried to wait it out, I ended up with a combination of strep throat, laryngitis, tonsillitis, bronchitis, and had the early symptoms of walking pneumonia. It took me a good two months and a six-week course of various antibiotics and steroids to get back to normal. I don't want to relive THAT experience again...

Especially considering that your trip is in a couple of weeks, you really should get to a doctor and get looked at. You don't want to be sick at Disney, do you?

well i guess thank you for scaring me, lol.
i did go to the dr. turns out i had a reaction to mosquito bites. the sore throat and cold, was just that, a cold. but the vomiting and sour stomach were becaue i was stupid and didnt put on bug spray tuesday night.
i have about 20 mosquito bites and they caused me to get sick.
benedryl is working wonders and i feel much better. thank you all for your responses

boy that would make for an interesting disney trip.
