OK I'm Fat

This is a great website. Be sure to read about the English lady's experience on the Lazy River at Typhoon Lagoon :lmao: She did such a great job describing her experience that I could easily have pictured myself in her place. She definitely should win an award just for that story! :goodvibes Enjoy the trip and try not to worry. You'll do fine!
After reading your post, I HAD to check out this woman's story of the lazy river. If you're talking about the one with the woman's stick legs in the air, I thought I might wet myself from laughter! Love it! :rotfl2:

I'm 6'2" and weighed 360ish the first couple of times we went to WDW as a family. Didn't have any problems with any rides. Rode pretty much everything except Dumbo, Astro and Indy Speedway. Rode all the thrill rides at the time Space Mountain, Big Thunder, Splash, RnR, ToT, TT, Dinosaur, Mission Space. Not a single issue. I will say that the Pimeviel Whirl, while I fit, wasn't the most comfortable. Because of the curved nature of the reide vehicle and my height, I had to turn a little sideways, which caused me to spill over the bar separating the seats. That was the only ride that was uncomfortable as I recall. Also, an earlier poster was correct on the Roller Coasters @ Universal, Rows 3 & 6 have a bigger seat for bigger people. Didn't have any problems there either, although Mummy wasn't there when I was that large.

I have since gotten to 280 (hopefully still have further to go) and rode the Mummy then, didn't have a problem.

WDW is great for pooh-sized people. Have fun!!!!!

Go - Have fun - I hope I get to sit next to you......life is too short to worry ...If you're loving Disney and having fun....go for it. :thumbsup2 We only go around once...........Barb from Texas

I am 6'4" and weigh about 370 with a 52" waist. I only had problems with 2 rides and those were Space Mountain with a tight squeeze, especially for my long legs. The Dinosaur ride at MGM was a little tight on my hips when in the seat. The seat belts on everything were no problem and while some of the turnstiles were tight, they are managable by turning sideways. Go to Disney and have a great time. The biggest hint I can give you is to pull the seat belt all the way out before sitting down, that way it is easier to buckle when you sit.

Quick tip: If you ride Kali River Rapids at AK, tell the CM you are a single and want to ride alone. The seats are designed for 2 sitting next to each other and sharing a seat belt. That can be a very tight fit if one or both are larger sized people.

Have a great time!
