OK, I'm calling in the morning, any tips to getting though?

Ya know that is the one down side of the MS weekend hours. You have to make that 9am call on Sat. and Sun. too! You used to get the weekend off and booked the three nights on Monday.

I know Sunday morning I'm running a BS sunday pancake breatfast. Ill have to excuse myself and use the cell phone. Hopefully it will be as quick as today. Fingers crossed.

Got my BWV BW view studio this morning!!

Busy signals through 9:05, then on hold until 9:15. Got a great MS rep and she grabbed the room quickly for me! Just one more day and the the ressie will be complete (then the long wait to see if the one night waitlist comes through or we have to move mid-stay).

There seemed to be 2 distinct recordings of hours. One mentioned if you were calling due to an emergency, and the other, the later one that just led up to getting MS just mentioned the hours and then put you through.

It told me the hours but it wasn't the regular message. I took the advice from these boards and called a few times before so I was able to tell the message was different.

Yikes, today was my scariest experience! I started callling at 8:58, got the first recording at 8:59, hit "1" and got a ringing phone. It continued to ring for about 1 minutes so I stayed on but then the next message was the original "our offices hours are.."! That ate up a minute of time and when I redialed I continued to get busy signals for about 20 minutes! I even had dh calling on his cell and my cell (we're all home due to a snowstorm today). I finally got through on the 407 number at about 9:20....Phew!

I knew I was going to have a hard time today because I was bragging on this thread about what an easy time I was having

Just 2 more days to book and we're complete! Can't wait until THAT's all over!

Wow, that seems weird! How long of a wait did the recording say you should have? If it said only 10 minutes or so, I'd complain to MS if you don't get the room you wanted!

well, I'd mention it to MS when you get through! Hopefully, this doesn't mess up your reservation!

This time it took 12 minutes, I got the room I needed, BCV.
I did tell them about the long wait, she was nice about it but .... what can they do.

It took me about 10 minutes to get through then i was on hold for another 10 minutes. I should have made my first reservation yesterday, but totally forgot about it so i was in a bit of a panic that i wouldn't get what i wanted, but it wasn't a problem.
I've got another 5 days to book, but we leave for SSR on Monday so i'll have to do the rest while i'm there. I'm really worried i'll get caught up in the excitement and forget all about it!

My husband called the 800 number and just spent 98 minutes on hold. I picked up the cell phone and called the 407 number and got our reservation in 16 minutes. Boy, is my husband mad! What we do for Disney!

This is my first time having to call day-by-day....I keep thinking there has to be a better way but if there were, I'm sure they'd institute changes.
