I just want to wish you LOTS of luck. You will be calling on one of MS's busiest days of the year. You will be competing with all the members calling to book NYE! Call right at 9am eastern time and be prepared to be on hold for quite a while. Good luck!!

I agree with wildernessdad....I've been calling everyday since the 20th to book our Christmas vacation and my strategy is to start dialing at 8:58. Everytime I get the recording about office hours, I hang up and redial. I haven't had a problem yet. When I do get through, I'm never on the line more than 2 or 3 minutes before I get MS.

I asked MS last week if they would tell me what was available, evening though I couldn't book it, and they would not. Glad to hear at least you were able to find out. (And yet another inconsistency on behalf of MS.)

8:59 is good advice. Don't forget to dial #1 as soon as the recording says "Thank you for calling DVC....." It'll then connect you or say "Thank you for calling Member services, our office hours are...... " If they say this, it's closed. Hang up and immediatly redial.
You can practice this now to get a feel for what I said. This should get you in quickly.

Use the 407 number.

I called the 800 number twice yesterday and got busy signals. I called the 407number and got right through at 5pm last night. I did, however, have to wait on hold for about 15 minutes.

I called on the 31st and was only on the line for about 20 mins including booking. Maybe I got lucky.

I am pretty sure that I heard the message the day before yesterday when I called, and then I got the message to press whatever for MS.

Ya know that is the one down side of the MS weekend hours. You have to make that 9am call on Sat. and Sun. too! You used to get the weekend off and booked the three nights on Monday.
