I'm looking for a decent stamping/scrapping present for my wife. I've been getting her hard to find punches and other Dis items over the last few years and want to get something pretty cool this year for Christmas. Are there any good stamping/scrapping products that might only be sold overseas that are good or something only from DisneyLand? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Stampin Up has awesome stamp sets, you could find a consultant online at their website.

My girlfriend raves about Close to my Heart (sp?)stamps.

Scrapbooking....hmmm thats a little harder since I am not sure what she has. Does she use Creative Memories items? If so, she may have a consultant already who may have her wish list of items she would love to have.

If not, a gift certificate to her favorite scrapbooking store would be awesome!

You are awesome for trying to get her what she loves for Christmas!!!

If you can give us a little more information on what she likes to do, or the style she uses we may be able to help you spend your money a little easier

Do you know if she has a die cutting system such as Sizzix? If not, the little Sidekick from Sizzix and a alphabet set would be awesome! The sidekick is usually $50 but if you use a Michaels or JoAnns coupon you can get it cheaper, same with the alphabet. This way she can cut out whatever words she wants, whenever she wants. Plus they sell little sizzlits to go with the sidekick too....in every shape imaginable (ie...flowers, stars, suns, trees, pumpkins....).

The Sizzix and Sidekick plus ABC's are great. If you know a Creative memories consultant (there are some here on the board that would help you) they have a new paper trimmer that makes waves. I love mine and it was about $22.

She's definitely into alot of the items that you mentioned, but I was specifically wondering if anyone was aware of any good Disney Scapping/Stamping stuff that I could get her. While she loves all of her "collection" of stamping/scrapping stuff, she gets this special glint in her eye when she opens some Disney-based!

As for what she likes, all things Creative Memories (especially that little glue tape thingy). She's got quite a collection of stamps between her, her mother and her sisters that they all share. She's even dabled in a little paper-making.

I recently purchased the "Disney Scrapbooking Clear Rubber Stamps" set from www.mousememories.com and I just love it! It was $13.50 or so and it has 25 stamps in the set. It is an acrylic set so she would also need a couple of acrylic blocks. If she already has acrylic stamps from Close To My Heart then she'll have blocks already. If not you can order them with your set. Do a search for clear mounts. This is a really nice set for scrapbookers.
Bonus points for you for being such a considerate hubby. Gotta love a guy that supports this habit -oops, hobby - like that!!

Mouse Memories is a good site, but if you have a good sized scrapbook store in your area - a specialty store, not a Michaels or Hobby Lobby - go in and talk to one of the associates. I know at my LSS they get lots of really unique stuff - if she loves using Disney stuff you could put together a package of some of the awesome new papers, stickers, embellishments, etc.

I can't complain - my DH has done an awesome job in the past on including scrapping stuff. Although I have a hunch this year it is going to be something different, and if it is what I think he is thinking it will be a very special gift. Should I have him get ahold of your DH Sue?

I know it is not Disney related, but how about a nice comfy office style chair for her scrapping station? My folks got me one last year (maybe because my old one was falling apart and I actually fell onto the floor and got injured from it??) and it has been one of my most heavily used gifts EVER!!! Seconded only by the nice set of drawers on casters that my brother and SIL got me last year! I use these items DAILY!........P
