I am wondering if they still sell umbrella strollers in the parks. (I did a search and had no luck.) We are planning a trip and are not sure we need a stroller for each child, but if we run into trouble, we would like to be able to get one there. I know we can rent, but we are wondering about our options.

They do sell an umbrella stroller for $40. It looked pretty nice to me too. It is black and red.

I have not seen them for sale in the parks. They do sell them at the resorts and at the Toy Store at Downtown Disney I think they are $49.95.

I believe the weight limit on the stroller they sell is 35 lbs. so keep that in mind if you think you may need one. They are red and black and are a Kolcraft umbrella stroller. You can probably find a picture of one if you google the brand.

They are for sale at the stroller rental for every park. We ended up with one last time. We had an issue and ours got stolen and a cast member was super rude about it(long story) and when we went to complain at guest services they gave us a coupon for one and we went to the stroller rental. It was red/black and had a cup holder. We immediately covered it in stickers and made it very identifiable so it would not get taken, we will take it back again with us. It was comparable to the $20 one we got at Target, but there are a lot of them so make it look like it is yours so it doesn't get taken.

This is the one we bought at the store at the resort. It's a Koolcraft, it comes with a cup holder thing and a mesh pocket on the back of it and a tiny shade thing. Its handles are nicely padded and they are a bit taller than on most cheap umbrella strollers (like the "free" ones from Toys 'R' Us). It's our favorite stroller now and I would reccommend it to anybody.:thumbsup2

Thanks, everyone. The 35 lb weight limit will not work for us, so I am back to square 1. I know we will need one stroller and I will purchase that soon- I can use it now anyway. I guess we will just spend the big bucks and rent if we absolutely have to. It just seems like a waste of money to me when I can find decent prices and shipping and can resell when we are finished with it.
