OK, I guess I will start the Waiting for OCT-DEC AP rate thread

We're still waiting, too! Currently booked at AAA rates for POFQ November 20 to December 1. Came to our senses as we were booked at rack rate courtyard view at WL. It was over $3000! DH got mad and said we could have gone to Europe at that rate!
 We also have three nights at AKL December 1 to December 4. Hoping our DU agent Sue Ellen comes through for us when the codes are released! Decided to leave this to a profeesional!

Sign me up for this thread. We're going Oct. 11 - 16. I'm waiting on buying my ticket, I'll get an AP if the discounts come out and it saves enough for the two rooms we have. If they just have a room only discount for this time I'd take that.

If we get savings similar too the EWK code, I'll be trying to get a few Character Meal reservations in with the savings. My daughter loved Cinderellas breakfast, we might also try Prime Time or Sci-Fi.

The trip is just after her birthday, she still doesn't know yet. We also got tickets for the MNSSHP. A side note, I know what their policy on the ticketed events says but, if the weather is really bad, what do they do? refunds, exchange for another night, nothing?

Waiting for October "and" December rates, so I will join the masses in the waiting game.:bored:

I was up with you........at 3am checking mousesavers.com and of course they already had it up on their site unlike Disney, heck the last time I checked the Disney site it still wasn't there!
Then I get an email from Disney..........so you know I start to get excited thinking the famous email with the great discounts through Dec. But of course it was the tired old discount for Sept. Disney if you are reading this .............READ MY LIPS!!!!!I NEED A DISCOUNT FOR OCT AND DEC! If not I will cancel one of my weeks. But I am glad someone started this thread because I too was really having a pity party for myself thinking about all the lucky ones that have recieved those great discounts, not that I am not happy for you but I would also like to be happy for myself!

Count me in for the wait for Dec codes! And I will not book until a code comes out!!!!!! I am not giving disney that satisfaction of getting rack rate. Now I have several choices, so if I don't get choice #1 I'll live. :D

October 2-9.

Everyone now...(to the tune of Cinderella)...

"Some-day my discount will come....Some day my life will be normal...and off to Disney I'll be...Me and my family-eee".

Wow-looking at picture in your post.
Is that all chocolate? Where was that taken and what was it and how much? Looks soooo cool!

I just switched over to check my e-mail, and was so excited to see the header:

Passholders, Save Big on a Disney Resort

So, I opened it thinking, "Hey, maybe I am the first to get an October e-mail! All right!!!"

The following is what I saw instead:

Guess what? Since you’re a Walt Disney World® Passholder who sent us your email address, you’re among the FIRST to hear about this great offer! Now you can save up to $124 per night (based on nondiscounted rate for the same room) at our wildest Resort, Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge. Guess what else? The savings are on a stay in an exciting savannah-view room! And it’s yours for just $151 per night (plus tax) most nights from August 28 through September 29, 2004. So hurry! The number of rooms available at this rate is limited.

There are more great offers at select Disney Resorts. And each and every one comes with benefits like:
• Spectacular pools
• Legendary, round-the-clock Disney service
• Extra Magic Hour Benefit–Each day one of the Theme Parks is open for an extra hour so Guests staying at select Walt Disney World Resort hotels can enjoy some favorite attractions. Please plan ahead and check the schedule. Valid Theme Park ticket and Resort I.D. required.

So if you wanna save, call (407) 560-PASS (7277) today and ask for code EWK before the word gets out.

Thanks, and see you real soon!

To which I replied to myself: "Duh! EWK is old news! Show me something I don't already know!!!"

I got a postcard yesterday unfortunately it was in the name of someone who has NEVER LIVED HERE!!! Disney's answer was OPPS SORRRRRYYYYYYY.

Same thing here, got one for a family that has never lived here. Good thing I really couldn't travel at the dates on the postcard otherwise I might be a hair bit mad

As another posted said, this is my first trip on the AP's, Disney club was always so much easier.

And I too think that releasing them one month at a time might hurt them. I have been planning our December vacation since January. And will plan our next years vacation probably next month.

OH! TOO FUNNY! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Well, I will ad my post with all the others waiting for Oct. rates. I'm spending WAY too much time worrying about this!!!

SEE! More proof Mickey is a sadomasochist!!!! Although, I didn't even get that email. Not that it would have helped me at all but I am a passholder and I know they have my email. They have DHs email too and he didn't get it either. I totally don't understand how they do things.

I've got reservation anxiety up the wazoo! (Well, not really, but I have quite a few that I'm waiting for!)

Nov 6-7
Nov 12-14 (No, I'm not nuts. It's DVC in the middle dictating
the weekends.)

December 9-12
December 17-19
(Again....DVC in between...)

I have doubts about the last December booking, but I'll
cross my fingers there'll be AP rates.

I really want to know if this is "normal" for getting an AP rate. I is sorta crazy. There has got to be a better way.
Please, can someway tell me how to put a countdown with my post? Thanks! (Type slowly, as I am tech challanged and will have a hard time following the instructions:hyper: :teeth: :upsidedow :scratchin :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: ) Thanks a whole bunch!!!!!!

I, too, am waiting for a Dec. AP rate! We currently have YC booked at the AAA rate ($245 per night), but it sure would be nice to get that number lower.

Well, I guess I could have just given you the link! I'm weird:crazy:

12/5 - 12/9 and I already have reservations at the WL. DD and I have never been to Disney during December. I don't have internet access at work, so I go nuts throughout the day wondering if they were released and I missed them. May have to ask the boss if I can bring my laptop to work for internet access.

In all our on site visits to WDW, I've never paid less than RACK RATE ! I really feel stupid. One year we even had an annual pass. We just didn't understand there was a game to play in order to take advantage of it. Last Thanksgiving I shared a seat on the bus our first day there with another tourist who told me she got her CSR room for $70 something. I had paid $148 a night. I'm determined to get a deal. My DH doesn't even really want to go and would be content to stay off-site. It's a lot easier to sell him on this when I can show him a savings. I'll be waiting for December holiday AP rates.

Thanks so much for telling me how to put the counter! It took me awhile and I had to consult with one of my children, but it is here!! I'm so excited! Now could you get me one of those great AP rates?:teeth:
Thanks a bunch from another Melissa!
