OK, I guess I will start the Waiting for OCT-DEC AP rate thread

Hi everyone...
I ended up with the Poly Garden View for $244+tax per night....had hoped for better...but it is in regular season (11/28 - 11/31) Got Pop for $55.00+tax for value season (11/4-11/7).
QUESTION....did anyone use the EWO (Florida Resident Code) for Regular Season (10/28-11/1)? Wondering what Value Resort or Moderate is per night with that code. Thanks!
Guess all we do now is wait for our trips!

Not sure if your quote includes tax, but yesterday I was offered standard at the Contempory for $131 plus tax. That's an AP rate.

How did I get charged so much more? I used the AP code, and got through eight minutes after CRO opened!

I got Poly GV for $229 plus tax using an AP. I too am going in regular season, October. Why are you paying more I wonder?

I used a different code... BAT
I'm am not an annual pass holder...
That probably explains it...
I've never stayed at the Poly before...I am sooo excited!
We have eaten at O'Hana and looked around before...and dreamed of staying there someday...but we have a family of 6...and that poses a problem! Only 3 of us going on this trip...so I am surprising my DH and DS with 3 nights at the Poly before our cruise! :teeth:

Just letting you know that I am going to give a ressie for Poly garden view for dates Nov. 23----29th since they blacked out the thanksgiving weekend to us AP holders. I don't have time to call now but will call later this afternoon if anyone is hoping for those dates. It IS value season then but the rack rate is 299/nt. Best I could get was AAA bringing it to 254.15/nt. Still too much for a spur of the moment trip. I am not sure but I think the BAT code could be applied for the last day or two- for anybody out there that is interested.

just a thought in case they are all booked up.

OIC. Well you will love the Poly! I have stayed there 5 times with the 6th time coming up in less then 5 weeks! I can't imagine a better resort at WDW then the Poly.

Hey all,

We had a one night room only, Oct 30, post cruise at the Contemporary. Dagny Young at Dreams Unlimited was holding the reservation and got the rate down to $185. No calling for us, no fooling around. Try putting your reservation with them. They are the best!

Thank you soooo much legs22 for bringing this to my attention.
When I was quoted by the CM at $143.50 per night, it was because we have two rooms and one of those rooms has an extra adult, putting them $25 over per night. Well, what the CM did was divide that between the two rooms. So really, my room is cheaper at $131 plus tax! WOO HOO! Thanks for the heads up!

Exactly what type of room did you get for that price? Standard? Or higher?

Glad I helped you realize you got an even greater deal than you first thought:D

that $185 must be standard view ....
I got $229 for garden view at Contemporary the same night for an AP discounted rate.

I have definately gotten better deals with the Visa room only code in the past even if just by 5.00 a night. What's strange is that there is no new Visa deal out and the old one expires either today or tomorrow. I am hoping they come out with one just to see if it's equivalent or better. Another wait and see...!

The code in the past year that gave the best discount was the one for FL residents that also had a Disney VISA!

I found out a day late and still got a discount this morning using the BAT code for our stay at the BWI, 11/6-11/12. The blackout dates must only be in effect for check-in dates.

Anyone else get a discount at any of the BW resorts? I originally had $361.25/night using a AAA discount and now have $345/night using the BAT code. This is for BWI Concierge.

I originally booked concierge, after wanting to since our last trip, but also because there were no discounts available on standard or waterview rooms when I made the original reservation. I think I could probably get a standard for $225, but now that I've got the concierge, I don't think I want to give it up. Plus I would also lose the great boardwalk/waterview. Am I crazy?

Did anyone find any standard or waterview rooms (non-concierge) available at YC, BC or BWI using the BAT code and what are you paying?

I feel your pain. I originally booked GVC at the Poly and can not get a discount for it, so I have a regular GV room on hold. I just don't want to give up CL either, so I called today and have a LVC room on hold, it is about $100 cheaper than my original ressie. There is a huge price difference between the GV and LVC too. I don't know what to do.

I have BWI CL BW view 10 days mid Oct using package code-works out to $380/night for the room portion (plus taxes).
I'm in Regular season-is your rate for value season?

I was quoted for BWI $ 209.00 standard a night.

I have decided to be grateful that we can go to DW at all and for so very long, especially. BUT, I will keep an eye out for a possible discount anyway. LOL

Thank you for your input.
