I would say it depends what you are using it on/for. Directions say: spray 2-3 seconds and allow to dry for better protection.

Lysol 2 claims to kill bacterias - Staph, Strep, Salmonnella, E-coli, Althlete's foot fungus. Viruses- Rhinovirus (leading cause of common cold), RSV Respiratory Syncytial Virus ( leading cause of lower resp. infection in children), Poliovirus Type1, Adenovirus Type 2, Herpes Simplex Viruses 1 & 2, and A2 Influneza (Japan).
