It will never stop raining, will it? Doesn't mother nature know other places need more water than we do? :( :(

{{{HUGS}}} I would take some of the rain in a heart beat just for you :)

Actually, I am not sure I could be an upbeat person if there is always rain. How do you all do it? It is hard to be upbeat sometimes when it is sunny all the time.

Carol, it's been like this since April, I'm not kidding, we get one nice day and then we get 6 with rain.
We had the record wetest month on June back in the 80's with 7.2" of rainfall for the month of June. This year for the month of June alone we had so far 9.7" until yesterday , and we got more after that, we beat the record.
The yards look like swimming pools, the ground is totally saturated. I better not hear anything about droughts this year!

and before that we were having one of the worst winters in ages! I feel your pain Mskanga. :( The heat kicking on in June is just not funny. In our area, it's going to end this week by getting hazy, hot and humid. Probably'll stay that way until it snows 6 feet again. :( :( (I've gotta move to Florida!!!)

Hi,

Sorry to hear about all the rain. Come to MN. It's been awesome weather here!

herc.

I saw that it stopped a bit this morning so I decided to go play golf.By the 2nd hole it started to pour again!! So I was lucky to get a rain check..Oh hi mskanga..:D

DH is outside right now just about running with the lawn mower trying to cut the grass before the heavens open up again!!!

He had to wait until after 9, so the grass would have a chance to dry out from yesterday's deluge, and the clouds are rolling in again! Yikes.

rumor has it that it'll be in the 90's by the end of the week. That's not good either. I swear that was mildew I scrubbed off my face this morning:rolleyes:

Yesterday I took DD (3 1/2) out in the rain because she was going crazy spending another day inside. We ran around our cul-de-sac until the thunder started and we both felt much better.

I believe that will happen because I will be there and I am trying to escape the 90 degree heat here in Italy!! We would be very happy to take your rain as we haven't had a good rain since the first week in April.

CEDmom lol! I can't even let my kids go running in their bathing suits out there today.....it is raw chilly and pouring out! Blech!

Hartford and New Haven CT have had more rain since Jan 1 than Seattle [New Haven by nearly 6inches] and it is still raining as I type.

Maybe you should have come here earlier Debbi, and I will pack some rain for you as a souvenir, ;)

Not much better here in Florida! Raining for 5 days now and flood watches all over. We're leaving for our choir "picnic" in about 20 minutes -- it's now being held at someone's house and her house is VERY SMALL! Don't know how THAT's going to work. :(
