I actually tried alligator chowder during my recent trip to Florida and it was really good. It was done up like a Manhattan chowder but I could stop thinking I was eating reptile so I didn't have much but it was gooooood

I tried alligator tail once. It wasn't bad.

Hee hee hee Jana.

I have had shark before, but never reptilian foodstuffs.

DH ordered alligator once at the Outback in Branson. It was not bad and really did taste like chicken. :)

I like gator bites...sort of an alligator chicken nugget.

We have it here on the coast in Biloxi and Gulfport...it really does taste like chicken and isn't bad at all.

Hehehe here I was thinking I was trying something exotic and I find out that it is no big deal:o They even have gator nuggets...I never knew:)

I eat gater when we visit family in New Orleans. I particularly like aligator sausage from the French Market.

I ate it on accident once thinking they were little popcorn chicken things, and threw up within minutes of eating them, that's when they told me "those are chicken nuggets!"

GROSS ME OUT WHY DON'TCHA

I've eaten gator at several restaurants in the French Quarter of New Orleans. EXCELLENT!!!!!! Unfortunately, I can't seem to get it up in Boston:( :( , but we have some great lobster here:D :D ..........

I had the gator bites in Florida. Reminded me of something between a scallop and chicken nuggets. They were delicious!
