How does MTC work with different machines? I only have a xyron PCS and I have a few books with it but I can't see how I'd link a computer-based system?

thanks, it looked like the best deal...getting the extra stylus, charger and silicon sleeve was $70 by themselves!

I hope I can figure it out! I am really looking forward to be able to weld my letters together...glueing one at a time is such a PAIN!

so after looking over everything last night and shopping different sites I ordered my gypsy this morning from Oh My Crafts!!!

got the gypsy combo with extra 5 carts when I register it, fabric case, silicon sleeve, 3 extra stylus' and car charger!

so I think it's a good deal!! will play with it for awhile and then decide if I'm getting the other computer programs later!

Thats the deal I got too and I LOVE it. It was so exciting opening everything. They were slow shipping it out but once it shipped it go here fast.

Lisa, enjoy your new toy! I LOVE my G, it really has taken my scrapping to a whole new level. I love that I can weld anything in any way that I want. Cutting a word as one big cut certainly saves time. I also like that I can make my own creations and see them right there before I cut. Just last night I made a little boy cut a girl by welding tildes to his head to be pig tails. It is nice to see everything so that you can get all of your cuts on the mat at once, and the best part...it is so little it fits into your purse! It is great for creating while the kids are in classes or whatever.

Be careful with the stylus, they break easily. If you have a silicone sleeve on the G, it does not slip into the pouch they give you. I recommend getting an art box for it. Target has hard sided pencil boxes that zip closed, inside they are lined with cloth. They are a GREAT fit for the G, and offer a little more protection.

Beware...you will find yourself buying more carts...the ability to see them on the G before you buy them is very enabling!

got my gypsy registered and 5 carts uploaded....next to do link my other 24 carts....then I will start playing with it!!!

Is there any way to "bookmark" the manual on my computer??? can't print anything out right now, and didn't want to have to pull it up every time I need to look at something.

I just use the manual on the gypsy. If you press the small button on the right on of the options is for help (i think its a question mark). Push it and it will tell you what all the buttons are for. I have used it a lot.
