I have been reading about problems(?) with thermostat control (and hamsters - LOL), water pressure and temperature...

Is it all that bad or is this is a bit of an insider joke?

I found temperature control very difficult when I was down in January. However, I had no problems with water pressure or water temperature in the shower.

Just returned last night from a week at the BCVs. We started out our stay in a one bedroom, room 274. The water temps were fine. Everyone DID complain about the water pressure in the shower, however. Thing that is interesting is that the water pressure is great when you are filling the tub! DH guessed that there is a restricter valve in the shower head.

Temps in the room were fine. It was warm when we returned to our room, but cooled down quickly.

From Sunday - Thurs we were in a studio, 321. Again, water temps were fine and again, we found the shower pressure not to our liking.

This room was much more comfortable, temp wise than the one bedroom.

Our main complaint was that someone smoked in the room prior to our stay...but that is another post!

We stayed over Presidents Week this year and the water temp in the showers varied depending on the time of day. If you are and early riser and showered before 6am then the temperature was nice and hot, but as the day went on and more people arose the temperature was luke warm at best. It seemed like they couldn't get the temp up for the rest of the day because when we tried showering at night the water was still luke warm. As far as the pressure I found it to be low all the time.
