I just got my budget. :scared1: (they didn't have one that dropped dead)

Its not super horrible, $40,000. I was really hoping to get it closer to the $15 minimum.

I have a quick question I know someone wrote about having a one-way bus. Right now we are budgeted for 2 busses since we are planning on having 100 people, but not sure we will really have that much. Would rather think higher and then get a lower number and less money(I know I am crazy but I like living in my little world).

Is the 5 hour bus my only option? and do I really need 2?

Ugh I hate giving up all my fun cute wedding stuff.

Thanks so much in advance

If you have 100 people they will really push for you to get 2 buses.
I had 2 for mine and was glad I did.
I just started posting a PJ from when I did mine and I was able to save a ton of $$.
You amy want to read through it it might help you out.

It was lurkylu that posted about the one-way bus. With 100 people it sounds like you will need two buses. Right now we are around 50 people and hopefully with the bus that holds 47 and the limo that hold 8 (making two trips - one with the groom and his guys and one with me and my girls) we should be ok. Please keep us posted.

Yeah, you need 2 buses for that many people, and the minimum is 5 hours. A round-trip bus will knock off a couple of bucks per hour, and it can make two stops. That means all your guests need to be staying/meet at just two resorts.

Last I heard, the charter bus had gone up to $98/hour from $94/hour, so the round-trip buses should be something like $400each and the one-way bus (one stop) should be around $275 each. However these could all go up depending on fuel prices.

Just tell your planner you need more bus options - round trip, one-way, etc. - and that if you don't get more choices you will insist on hiring a fleet of Evil Town Cars (tm)! :rotfl:
