My itinerary is all planned (and extremely flexible). I just have one problem that I can't figure out because I haven't been to WDW since 1978 and can't quite grasp teh scale of things.

The days: Aug 9 MCO Marriott; Aug 10-15 CYM DD
Transportation: We're driving.
The delima:

On our Monday, we have a Princess breakfast at Epcot. We're going to do the things in FW my kids want to do, then go back to the CYM for the mid-day rest. No problem so far. That evening/night, we are going to MK. Also, I want to go to Trail's End as soon as it opens for dinner at 4:30.

So do we:
1) Drive back to MK parking lot, go through TTC, take the Monorail or boat to MK, enter MK then take the boat to Fort Wilderness. or

2)Drive to Fort Wilderness, eat at trail's end, take the boat to MK, come back after the night's over, then drive back to CYM

3) Take the Monorail from EPCOT to MK at Midday, then take our CYM bus back to the hotel, then take the bus back at 3:30 or so, then do the boat thing to FW?

Or another suggestion I haven't thought of.

I know you guys can help, though!;)

I would chose option 1. At Ft Wilderness you cannot drive to Trails end. You would have to park at the main lot and take the internal bus. The boat from MK is convnient and is a very short walk from Trails End.

Overall this option would save you time and hassels over the other 2.

Hi! I've stayed at the CY. It's a great deal if you got the $20 a night. I would use your car to get around, even if you have to pay the daily parking fee at the parks. Remember that the bus shares with all those hotels, so using your car will get you around quicker.

Option 1 sounds good. I was going to say 2, but I didn't know you couldn't drive up to the restaurant. Yes, park at the TTC and take the express monorail to MK, then take the boat to FW. Should be quick and easy this way.
