Thanks for all the good thoughts, pixie dust, luck, and crossed body parts, everyone.

The interview went pretty well, I think. It's for a commercial sales rep position with a paint company dealing with a major home improvement chain. It's like my last job, except substitute "carpet" with "paint." Of course, they're interviewing other candidates (darn it!!!) and said they'll contact me in about 3-4 weeks once they've made a decision. Personally, I think they'll contact me before then. The position is open and I get the feeling they want to fill it sooner rather than later. If I haven't heard anything before the Star Spangled event, I'll wait to contact them afterward because if the news is negative, I don't want to spend that weekend in a red, white, and blue funk.

Now it's like Tom Petty said -- the waiting is the hardest part.
