Ok, escrow is closed. Now what?

We closed escrow today!! Disney will have all closing docs tomorrow. I was told that it will take 10 working days to get into the system. Does anyone know if I will get something in the mail? I am hoping for a welcome packet, but I am not counting on it since we bought resale. TIA for any info........

Congratulations

We bought resale and our names showed up in the system in about 4 business days with points the following day. We were able to make our reservations about 5 business days after closing. When you call they should also be able to give you your pin number so you can access the DVC Member website.

And 'YES' we did receive a package from Disney. I don't remember the time frame after closing, but it did come pretty quick.

I can't answer your question. Just wanted to say CONGRATULATIONS and WELCOME HOME!!! We live in Cajun Country - Lafayette area. Where are you originally from??

My husband and I are originally from Delcambre, about 25 miles south of Lafayette. Are you in Lafayette or are you near there? What's your favorite restaurant in Lafayette? I think mine is the Blue Dog. Love that corn and crab bisque!

I am from Carencro, my husband is from Lafayette and we now live between Scott and Cankton. We have eaten at the Blue Dog a few times and like their food. I would actually have to say my favorite resturant is Tsunami which is a sushi resturant. For cajun food, I would say Prejean's is my favorite.

We were notified that we passed ROFR on Sept 26, and Disney received all closing docs/paperwork on Nov.9--my 16th wedding anniversary!

CONGRATS Its so exciting isnt it.... We bought back in Aug of this year and our closing was on the 9th of october. Im not sure if you have checked out the member site or not but its neat to look at all of you info as far as points, trips planned, etc and then there is a spot where you can go to the orange county records and search your name and pull up your deed information etc... I got so excited when I saw ours I almost fell out of my chair....

Ohmygoodness......I actually had to check to see if I had posted this....you're timeframe is VERY similar to ours, and we just celebrated our 16th anniversary...November 3rd!!!!

I had the same question...no what? LOL

For the poster who said you were actually in the system in about 4 business days, did you call WDW to find out? What did you need to provide in order to get that info?
