DW and I were thinking about adding on at VWL, currently we own at OKW. When we add on at VWL, does that mean we also get to have the 11 month booking window there with all our points, or do we only get the 11 month window at OKW cause it's our 'home' resort?

Thanks! I thought we've get the 11 month at both places, but DW wanted me to ask to be sure.

Also, can we add on, say just 50 points, or do we need to go to 150?

Let's say you have 150 points at OKW you have the 11 month window for those 150 points at OKW. You could then add 50 points at WLV and you'd get the 11 month window for those 50 points at just WLV.

You get the 11 month window only for points at that resort. Thus if you had 200 OKW points and 150 VWL points, you could do the following:

Book up to your 200 OKW points at OKW, 11 months
Book your 150 VWL points at OKW, 7 months
Book your 150 VWL points at VWL, 11 months
Book your 200 OKW points at VWL, 7 months

If you wanted to use all 350 points at the same time, you would have to wait until the 7-month window. Then use them at ANY resort.

There are several things you can do by balancing banking and borrowing separately for the individual contracts. You can also book at your home resort with those points at 11 months, then try to add on more days at 7-months using the other resort's points.(no guarantees here though!), and then link the two ressies together so you don't have to change rooms.

Also, you can add-on just about any number of points. I think 25 is the minimum. There may be higher minimums for Magical Beginnings or Disney Financing. But you won't have to buy 150 points for an add-on.
(I know, I've got 6 add-ons!).

Currently, the minimum you can add on at your home resort is 25 points. If you want to add on at another resort, the minimum is 50 points. For some reason, I seem to remember that for financing, you must add on 100 points. Can anyone else confirm this?

That is not correct. You can add on 25 points at any resort that is selling but only for cash, 50 is the minimum for financing. There is no home resort requirement for the 25 points add on.
